The Aircurl is Mermade Hair’s solution for creating bouncy-looking waves. The pioneering tool features a vented design that delivers 360° airflow, helping to style and dry strands simultaneously at a lower temperature for salon-worthy results.

The device is perfect for adding visible shape and volume with the power of air. Its large 32mm ceramic barrel ensures maximum volume and definition, while the accompanying clamp and slim grip handle provide complete control. Featuring ionic technology, the device minimises the appearance of frizz to create the illusion of a smooth blowout.

The tool is made with travel in mind, detaching from its head for easy storage and on-the-go styling. To use, simply wrap hair around the barrel or clamp, roll the strands up and allow the air to set your curl into place, just like a typical curling iron would do.

• Step 1: Start with clean, tangle-free hair. For best results, it is recommended that you use Aircurl on damp hair that is 80-90% dry. However, Aircurl can also be used on dry hair to add shape. The roots of the hair must be dry.
• Step 2: The key to lush, long-lasting curls is prepping your hair correctly. Use a heat protectant and contour spray, like the Mermade Mist, to help protect your strands from heat and give your hair extra hold.
• Step 3: Divide hair into small, even sections using grip clips. The smaller the section, the more defined the curl will be. Plug in Aircurl. Taking the first section, clamp the end, turn on Aircurl and select low, medium or high heat. Twist the handle to roll hair up the vented barrel. Alternatively, you can wrap hair around the barrel and clamp to use like a traditional curler. Vertical wrapping will give more of a spiral curl than horizontal.
• Step 4. Hold for up to 10 seconds, or until hair is completely dry, then turn the machine off. Unwrap the hair and unclamp to release. Repeat each section once to lock in the curl. Repeat with remaining sections.
• Step 5: For an effortless looser curl, gently brush or comb through curls. Finish with a few drops of the Mermade Super Serum to visibly smooth hair and hydrate ends.
