this has to be my favourite purple shampoo, as a blonde you try many purple shampoos to remove the orange yellow tones after dying, through lockdown i had an experimental moment and ruined my hair dying it bright yellow, after using the moroccanoil purple shampoo it has toned it right down, leaving it a gorgeous ashy colour! it doesnt leave it purple or silver which is amazing!! So so happy deffo recommend

Takes the yellow tones right out
I have dyed ashy/platinum blond hair and this takes all the yellow tones right out. I put it on dry hair and leave it on for just over 10 minutes to get a really ashy finish. It's not drying like some others I've tried and although it's expensive it's worth it, I only need to use it once a week. It smells amazing too!

My natural hair colour was dark but over the years it has gradually turned and I have tinted it blonde for years. I had keratin treatment which left it yellowy and decided to try this shampoo rather than keep tinting it with majirel. I must say it has toned the yellow down wonderfully and turned it a lovely ash blonde with an amazing shine. I am now going to buy the conditioner. Be careful to spread it evenly and not to leave it on to long if you don’t want it too blue.

I think this shampoo is amazing! Does what you want it to, id recommend leaving it in for 3-5 minutes though to get the best results! Make sure you wash it out properly though because it can leave purple streaks if not washed out properly. Do think it is kind of expensive for a small bottle but it does do what it says on the tin.
