Control shine and protect your complexion with the Murad Oil and Pore Control Mattifier. This lightweight moisturiser has been specially formulated for oily skin types with an oil-free formula. Avocado and African Yellow Wood bark hydrate the skin to help re-balance oiliness and reduce the appearance of enlarged pores.
Oil-absorbing microspheres instantly reduce the appearance of shine and help to prevent the re-appearance of oiliness for up to 10 hours. Imperfections are blurred and the complexion appears smooth and refined. This multi-benefit moisturiser simultaneously tackles oiliness and dehydration, two skin concerns that often go hand-in-hand. To protect your complexion, the moisturiser includes broad-spectrum SPF45 to help defend against the ageing and damaging effects of the sun.
Suitable for oily and blemish-prone skin types.
Apply liberally to face, neck and chest. Wear alone or as a shine-stopping makeup primer.

Amazing
This stuff is amazing. I've tried spfs from perricone md, genosys and ultrasun and just found them greasy and no good for applying before make up. This one dries within minutes and leaves a lovely soft silky feel to the skin, very impressed. It didn't smell and didn't leave my face white. I love it and will definetly re-order.

Cannot rate this enough! Leaves me matt all day whilst moisturising nicely. Also doesn’t wash me out and leave a white residue as can be the case with high spf products.

Perfect for oily skin
I have such oily skin and find most primers make my skin more silky looking. Sophie Milner recommended this and thought I’d trust it even though the price shook me. Adequate hydration for oily skin, and decent SPF. It is very thick, and has that old-fashioned sunblock smell. I don't find it particularly mattifying - in fact it makes my skin look quite greasy, and make-up does not apply well over it. It's ok, but I don't think I will purchase again.

I have been using this updated product for years (10 years) now. My dry/oily/acne prone skin reacts so well to this mattifier. My skin doesn't get oily for hours and it looks so much better now. It hides blemishes and some skin discolouration. I highly recommend it.

Silky finish
Bought this on recommendation of Rose Gallagher, after she said it worked wonders on her oily skin. It has a lovely texture that does mattify but without taking away the glow. My make up seems to be lasting longer now that I am using this. It is pricey though and I’m not sure I could justify it all the time.

My go to Moisturiser for controlling shine
I have combination skin but get so oily throughout the day. I've been using this Moisturiser for the last 8 years and nothing compares to it. The consistency is thick but a little goes a long way and it sinks in very quickly. It's perfect!
