Nars Velvet matte lip pencil
Creamy, very good shade range and comfortable formula. The only reason I would not repurchase and give 4 stars is the fact is highly scented to the point of being unpleasant for me. It is some sort of vanilla smell but quite strong especially when you wear the product on you lips. Overall good quality but Nars, please omit the scent!

Dolce Vita
Not the first of these Nars chubby pencils I've bought, but with a percentage off from Lookfantastic, I thought I'd treat myself to another. Dolce Vita could be my favourite colour yet! Not quite a nude, but a great dusty rose pink that is great for everyday. They might not last for long on the lips, but just takes seconds to touch up. I love them!

Lovely lip pencil
I love the Mathew lip pencils from Nars. I have mysterious red, and cruella. They are really easy to apply and have quite good staying power. It is easy to touch up without a mirror, and they don't stick to your teeth.

Luscious velvet
These Nars pencils are gorgeous - instant, rich, cover. The one disappointment is that they are not long lasting. The colour comes off if you eat/drink unlike some other makes. They also blunt quite quickly so a sharpener is needed.

My new favorite lip product.
I've been wanting to try these pencils forever but I could never find the shade I wanted in stock (Dragon Girl). I finally managed to order it and it's even better than I tought it would be. First of all it's very light - it has lighter consistency than some of sheer lipsticks I tried or even lipbalms. It's not drying at all. Having that in mind the perfect matte effect it gives is rather mind blowing. The absolutely brilliant thing about these is the pigmentation - it gives perfect colour while still feeling very light on the lips. Can work also as a stain, it's very buildable. The only thing I'm not super impressed by is staying power but it's not bad enough to take a star. If you love matte lip look but you're afraid of dry lips this is a product to try! I hope to snap Dolce Vita and Train Bleu soon.

Best matte lipstick ever
The velvet matte from Nars are the most comfortable matte lipstick, it doesn't make your lips feel dry, it is like you weren't wearing anything. Since it is like a pencil is so easy to use it even in the limit of the lips. I have it in three colours!

Better as a base!
I've been looking for a good matte lipstick to replace ruby woo by mac because it's so drying it actually flakes on my lips but this one is great. It's also small enough to throw in your purse, easy to apply especially as it's like a crayon style pencil. Staying power is ok but I feel it works better as a base/lip liner for an actual lipstick or gloss. The texture is great and definitely not drying at all. NARS wins (as usual)!
