Introducing the Neutrogena Clear and Defend+ Exfoliator, a texture-refining-formula packed with AHA's and panthenol to support visible skin cell renewal.
The potent liquid exfoliator helps to remove dead skin cells and excess oils to promote a clean and clear complexion. Formulated with an optimal pH to maximise the efficacy, it helps to reduce the appearance of textural irregularities to leave skin feeling soft and refined, adorned with a radiant glow.

- When to Use: Apply the AHA exfoliant weekly increasing up to daily (if needed)
- Application: Use a cotton pad over dry face and neck. Allow to fully absorb into the skin. Do not rinse.
- Important: Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water. Do not use on irritated skin. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin sensitivity to the sun. Avoid sun exposure and protect your skin from sun.

Amazing
I absolutely love this Neutrogena clear and defend liquid exfoliant with AHA + Panthenol. I applied this a couple of times weekly on my face and neck, and I really noticed an improvement in my skins texture as my acne scarring improved. This was also alcohol free and fragrance free, and the addition of Panthenol helped to soothe my skin and protect its moisture barrier. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Well done Neutrogena for creating a top quality product!
Effective container helps extract exact measure of the product. Looks like water, completely clear + fragrance free. I was initially cautious due to 7% strength and a previous bad reaction to a Clear & Defend+ product. So on my first application I applied the liquid exfoliant only to my forehead and centre of my nose, my spot prone areas. Once dry it leaves my skin shiny and feeling a bit sticky, but not dry or sore. The following day I was very impressed, my skin was clean and glowing, I had no spot outbreaks and my skin felt fully hydrated and very smooth and soft. I am confident that it fulfills it's claim of GENTLY lifting away dead skin cells & excess oil as my skin was calm with no adverse reaction. After using once a week for a month I can agree that my skin texture is without question more even. I have significantly smaller pores on my nose and even fewer blackheads appear there. I'll absolutely continue to use this as my skin is brighter and considerably less problematic #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Need longer use
For someone who has suffered with acne and skin markings, I was excited to try this product. I have been using as per the instructions (once a week) and when first applying the product, it does sting / tingle a little. I did notice my skin peeling with the exfoliant so I was happy with this. I don’t think I have seen a huge improvement in my skin and the texture just yet, will continue to use to see if there is any difference. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Fantastic exfoliant
It includes 7% AHA (5% Glycolic & 2% Citric Acids) that remove dead skin cells, & 0.5% Panthenol, which maintains the efficacy of the skin barrier. I have not seen an AHA before that included Panthenol, but together these work brilliantly, the acids doing their job whilst the Panthenol protects the skin. My skin is so much smoother, brighter and softer, it tingles when applied so feels as if it’s really working to slough away dead skin cells and deeply clear pores, leaving new skin on the surface that is smooth and glowing. So easy to use too, apply a few drops to a cotton/reusable face pad and sweep across face and neck, leave to absorb and continue with rest of your routine. I’ve been using at night and then ensuring I always use SPF in the day time, as anything that increases skin cell turnover also increases skin sensitivity to UVA/UVB rays Definitely recommend this to anyone who has issues with uneven texture or tone, acne, dull skin or excessive oiliness #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

I have been using this exfoliant for the last few weeks and I definitely liking it. When applied at first i got a tinge sensation but I guess i was me bit harsh rubbing it. Within a few tries and gentle apply my skin got used to. Love how clean and smooth my skin feels after using it. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Gently does it
Neutrogena's Clear & Defend+ Liquid Exfoliant worked wonders on my skin. I have been using it for a few weeks, I started out just once a week for 2 weeks then went to twice a week for a week and then 3 times a week. This means I did not experience any irritation. The exfoliant is very gentle but incredibly effective at removing dead skin and grease. My face is noticeably smoother and I have had less breakouts. Old scars are beginning to fade too. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Great for excess oil
I recently used Clear & Defense 7% AHA + Panthenol and it was great! It gently removed my dead skin cells leaving it smoother and more uniform. I also noticed a decrease in excess oil on the skin which reduced my blackheads and pimples. The panthenol in the formula helps not to dry out the skin. Skin feels renewed and looks brighter!
I haven't used a liquid exfoliant before so this is a completely new experience for me. The Neutrogena Clear & Defend+ liquid exfoliant has fantastic ingredients, 7 percent AHA and panthenol which is known to soothe skin is a winner for me! When I first started using the product I did break out in a few spots but I expected that as my skin tends to react to new products however cleared up fully after a fortnight. I started using once a week as recommended for beginners and now use every third day which is where my skin can tolerate nicely and stays clear and bright. My skin texture has definitely improved, is much more bright and youthful looking than normal so I would recommend to others and I will personally continue to use. A little of the product really goes a long way, the bottle is 125ml but for how I use it it's going to last a long time so is very economical as well as a good size to pack if travelling. I look forward to seeing how my skin improves with further use! #HomeTesterClubFreeSample
