Encourage a clarified complexion with Neutrogena’s Clear and Defend Plus Daily Serum. Summoning a radiant glow, the non-comedogenic formula seeks to minimise the look of discolouration caused by blemishes.
The serum is enriched with salicylic acid, working to de-congest pores and absorb excess sebum. Gluconolactone lends refining benefits, helping to smooth the skin, while glycolic acid promotes a more even-toned finish. Complete with Mandelic acid for an added brightening effect, the serum helps to leave the skin feeling revitalised.
- Application: New users should apply product to small areas during the first 3 days. If no discomfort occurs, apply a thin layer once a day on clean face, then increase to twice a day if desired. If dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
- Please Note: Avoid contact with eyes. Contains AHAs that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and sunburn. Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

The smell made the product unusable for me
I tried the serum on a number of occasions but sadly couldn’t leave it on my skin. The serum had a smell that can only be described as a mixture of wet dog and damp towels that transferred on to my pillow when using it of a nighttime and my husband even commented on it being very unpleasant! It also stung my face each time I tried to use it but this was slightly to be expected with a new serum containing the listed ingredients. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Absolutely great product, it's ideal as I don't have to worry about washing it off and can put it on and go on with my day/head to bed. My skin adjusted really nicely and definitely looked brighter and clearer. Works excellently for spot-prone skin
This has no perfume so takes a little getting used to the smell, but that means it isn't working against any perfume I'm choosing to wear! It works brilliantly at getting rid of spots quickly, as well as preventing them. An effective everyday serum
I introduced this serum to my routine 3 weeks ago and used both morning and night. I really liked the consistency of this serum as it was easy to applicate over my face and absorbed well. It made my skin feel hydrated and fresh after use. The smell was slightly off putting as it smelt quite medicinal so would be nice to offer fragranced options to perhaps mask this smell. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample
