Encourage a clarified complexion with Neutrogena’s Clear and Defend Plus Daily Serum. Summoning a radiant glow, the non-comedogenic formula seeks to minimise the look of discolouration caused by blemishes.
The serum is enriched with salicylic acid, working to de-congest pores and absorb excess sebum. Gluconolactone lends refining benefits, helping to smooth the skin, while glycolic acid promotes a more even-toned finish. Complete with Mandelic acid for an added brightening effect, the serum helps to leave the skin feeling revitalised.
- Application: New users should apply product to small areas during the first 3 days. If no discomfort occurs, apply a thin layer once a day on clean face, then increase to twice a day if desired. If dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
- Please Note: Avoid contact with eyes. Contains AHAs that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and sunburn. Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.
- Salicylic Acid: Oil-soluble exfoliant that helps clear blocked pores and refines texture
- Gluconolactone: A polyhydroxy acid that helps to even the skin tone

Impressed with the product.
The product has a light, non greasy texture that absorbs into the skin quickly and I find it works really well when layered under makeup. I love the fact it contains salicylic acid as it helps to target breakouts and improve the texture of my skin. One down side to this product is definitely the smell. The smell when you squeeze the product out and apply it smells a little off putting, it’s just not the kind of smell you expect at first. However, it’s not a very overpowering smell- it just took me by surprise. I do think the smell quickly fades so it’s not a major downside, just an observation. Pretty good
I think this serum is great. I wouldn’t say it prevents breakouts but it definitely has improved the smoothness of my skin and has made it look more glowy and I think may have slightly improved my marks from spots. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Great for acne prone skin!
I sometimes shy away from products like this as my skin can be quite problematic, and I am worried I will break out or have irritation. But this product really surprised me! It's a thin, watery texture and a little goes a long way. My skin didn't feel dry or irritated after using it, or the next morning. It's helped keep my break outs at bay, I've found it's good for sensitive skin, and I will definitely be repurchasing this once my sample runs out! #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Good serum

My skin feels so clean
I was pessimistic about whether this would work as I’ve tried multiple skin treatments but it really has made a big improvement to my skin!
