The Clear and Defend Plus Facial Wash is a refreshing formula that helps to cleanse the skin, encouraging a clarified, more radiant look. Neutrogena’s face wash is powered by a 4% AHA/PHA blend that helps to even the skin tone and soothe the appearance of blemishes.
A 2% concentration of glycolic acid seeks to minimise the appearance of discolouration caused by blemishes. Gluconolactone, a resurfacing agent, aims to refine the skin, while salicylic acid helps to remove excess sebum. Discover a balanced-looking complexion with this revitalising face wash.
- Application: Wet face. Apply to hands, add water and massage face gently. Rinse thoroughly. Start with one application daily, then increase to two if desired. If dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
- Please Note: Avoid contact with eyes. Contains an AHA that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and sunburn. Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.
- Glycolic Acid: A natural exfoliant found in unripe grapes and sugar beets
- Gluconolactone: A polyhydroxy acid that helps to even the skin tone
- Salicylic Acid: Oil-soluble exfoliant that helps clear blocked pores and refines texture

Excellent facial was!

Clean skin
Very good cleanser for skin. I really liked this that it has AHA/PHA and Glycolic Acid. It’s very non-drying and has left my skin feeling fresh and clean and since using it, it has kept my breakouts away too. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Good but did have it's negatives
I liked this product, it has helped somewhat with my acne. But has had a massive impact on my scarring which has reduced a lot. Only downside is that it's made my skin texture very uneven. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Great prouct

I little drying
Nice facial wash. Foams up nicely. Light feel and texture. Not entirely sure if it’s the cold weather or the product, but my skin did feel a little drier than normal. My skin did look clearer as well. My skin tone is tan/olive undertone. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Nice cleanser
Nice cleanser, does the job. Bottle is nice and big so will last a while, lathers up really nicely so you don't need too much product. I found it slightly drying for my combination skin- possibly due to the salicylic acid. However skin feels clean after use. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Great refreshing cleanser
This cleanser is really refreshing - I use it in the evening to help remove my makeup and impurities and it cleanses thoroughly without feeling like it strips my skin. My skin feels clean afterwards without feeling dry and uncomfortable. I would recommend this to anyone with normal/combination skin. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Fab face wash!
Fabulous face wash if you are suffering from acne and/or breakouts. My face has been awful for so long, and after 6 days it was improved dramatically. I highly recommend you try this if you are suffering. Easy to use pump bottle. Its very fairly priced. My skin is now glowing.
