The Clear and Defend Plus Facial Wash is a refreshing formula that helps to cleanse the skin, encouraging a clarified, more radiant look. Neutrogena’s face wash is powered by a 4% AHA/PHA blend that helps to even the skin tone and soothe the appearance of blemishes.
A 2% concentration of glycolic acid seeks to minimise the appearance of discolouration caused by blemishes. Gluconolactone, a resurfacing agent, aims to refine the skin, while salicylic acid helps to remove excess sebum. Discover a balanced-looking complexion with this revitalising face wash.
- Application: Wet face. Apply to hands, add water and massage face gently. Rinse thoroughly. Start with one application daily, then increase to two if desired. If dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
- Please Note: Avoid contact with eyes. Contains an AHA that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and sunburn. Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.
- Glycolic Acid: A natural exfoliant found in unripe grapes and sugar beets
- Gluconolactone: A polyhydroxy acid that helps to even the skin tone
- Salicylic Acid: Oil-soluble exfoliant that helps clear blocked pores and refines texture

Great all round product!
I really liked this face wash, it let my face feeling very clean but hydrated. The added benefits of the acid left my face feeling smooth too! An okay face wash
Thave tried this out several times and I have oily skin and I found this a bit drying. I like that it lathered up nicely but my skin felt a bit tight afterwards (I use dove soap bar currently). I would recommend if you do have super dry skin as it helped clean up the oil on my skin but not if you have dry skin or dry patches. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Does the job
Great product It does what it says on the bottle my skin is clearer then how it usually is. I don't suffer from bad spots or have major breakouts but I do get 1 or 2 on my chin and since using this they have not shown themselves! My skin is much clearer from using this! #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Simple face wash
Face wash was nice texture when applying to the face, removed make up well however quite stripping if used alone I’d recommend a thick moisturiser alongside I’d have combination skin #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

A good product!
I am quietly impressed with this face wash. It does the job without any fanciness to it. It’s very similar to another more expensive brand I use. I’m not a fan of the formula- it is like gel but yet it isn’t so it’s quite hard to lather to get a good covering to the face. I like the fact that there’s no added fragrance which is better for your skin and the face wash doesn’t feel overpowering or intense on the skin #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Clear and Fresh Skin
I am usually very confident with Neutrogena products and this one does not disappoint as well. Although initially i find the cleanser cause slight dryness to my skin but eventually my skin adapts to the cleanser and I feel my skin is fresher and clearer than ever. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample
