Developed with a biotechnologically advanced approach to cleansing, the NIOD Low-Viscosity Cleaning Ester is a weightless fluid that removes all traces of makeup and impurities while nourishing the moisture barrier.
The cooling liquid clarifies with a blend of isolated sugar and avocado esters to reduce excess sebum and unwanted oils for a shine-free finish. Emollients fatty alcohol ethylhexanoic acid ester and isoamyl alcohol lauric acid ester, not to be mistaken for alcohol or acids, work in unison to slough even the most stubborn of makeup and UV filters found in sun care, leaving the skin feeling refreshed. Plus, antioxidant-rich gallic acid ester fortifies the formula to lend purifying and protective properties, leaving the skin with long-lasting defence from dulling pollutants post-cleanse.

Worst cleaning product I've ever tried
I bought into the NIOD hype and it's been a hit and miss, with this product being the worst. It doesn't clean well - after applying a generous amount and massaging thoroughly, it didn't even remove my SPF (I don't wear make up). It leaves a nasty film on top of the skin and it doesn't give you the sensation of being clean. It broke me out terribly after 2-3 applications. My face just exploded in white spots, it was horrible. I switched to Purito's oil cleanser and it's been a life safer.

It does a good job
It does a good job in removing light to medium make-up and I would definitely keep using it as a 1st cleanser. I had to get used to its texture first to fully enjoy and acknowledge the results. Sometimes I have hard times washing it all off (I splash it in my hands and then apply it to my face, I don't soak a cotton in it), I recommend using a washing cloth. Not a lush experience, but it does provide a deep cleanse and has a good value for the money.

I have been using this product for a year now and I really love it. It does cleanse the skin nicely removing the make up and everything. You need to get used to the fact that when you wash your face it leaves a film but it goes away after a few minutes leaving your skin super soft. I like to use it with a cotton pad and it works well for me

Amazing with some tweaks
While LVCE dissolves makeup better than any oil cleanser I've ever used, I had two issues with it. 1) The packaging is messy. Putting it in a pump bottle fixed that. 2) I couldn't actually get the product off my face! I'd have black eyeliner dissolved and streaked across my cheeks; the only way of removing it was to scrape it off with a rough towel or double-cleanse, which I didn't want to do around my eyes. Using it alone, my skin got clogged up and broke out with 3 weeks because it left too much film. I nearly gave up on it but then thought that, if I could add an emulsifier, it might wash clean (like how Kiehl's and Bobbi Brown's oil cleansers works). I researched emulsifiers and found cosmetic-grade Polysorbate-80 for a few dollars on eBay. Approx. 85% LVCE to 15% Polysorbate-80 does the trick. Now I have the best of both worlds - an awesome cleanser that also washes clean. If you're having similar issues, it's the perfect fix and cheap too!
