The No.3 is free of DEA, aldehydes, formaldehyde and Butylphenyl Methylpropional (Lilial).
Perfector: Apply a generous amount to towel-dried hair, comb through and leave on for a minimum of 10 minutes or longer, then rinse, shampoo and condition. This is NOT a conditioning treatment to be left on the hair. The longer this is left on, the more effective it will be. This may be used more than once a week if necessary.
Shampoo: Massage into damp hair, work through hair from root to tip creating a lather. Wash off then follow with the {No 5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner}. Can be used alongside the weekly No 3 Hair Perfector treatment.
Conditioner: Smooth through damp hair, after using the Bond Maintenance shampoo and work through from root to tip before rinsing. Can be used alongside the weekly No 3 Hair Perfector treatment.
Smoother: Apply a small amount of product to damp or dry hair, concentrating on the mid-length to ends. Comb through and style as desired.
Oil:
1. Remove cap.
2. Turn the bottle upside down and gently tap the index finger on the bottom of the bottle to dispense a metered drop.

If there one thing I meticulously look after, it's my hair <3 I religiously get it trimmed every 8 weeks, have it chemically straightened one a year so that I NEVER have to use heat on it. I also buy higher end shampoos/conditioner (Redken/Goldwell/etc), ALWAYS use protective products and haven't dyed it in over 3 years (had balayage done in 2017 on virgin hair). Naturally brunette, my hair is very long/fine, but I fortunately have a lot of it! Thanks to Covid-19, I am about 8 weeks OVERDUE for my hair cut, and it's starting to show in its condition. It has now reached my hips and despite doing everything I can to protect it from the elements (including the beautiful sunny weather!) by having it up in a lose bun, conditioning treatments once a week, oil twice daily, and being generally very careful with it, it's starting to look a little worn/dry/tired/in need of a trim! So I decided to take the plunge and see what all the fuss was about re Olaplex. Given that it is a product designed to strengthen weakened/damaged hair, there was no reason I could find to indicate that it wouldn't benefit natural hair. *Remember, this is a review for natural damaged hair with very little bleach-affected areas* I used all products as instructed and (thankfully) I have been left with soft, supple, shiny, light and bouncy hair! <3 So can the price be justified....? Yes - I think so! The only thing Olaplex hasn't got is a strong smell (which is fine by me!). -No.3 Hair Perfector (100ml). If you're going to apply this for any length of time shorter than 3 hours, don't bother. I trialed the 10-minute application as recommended on the bottle and found no difference. HOWEVER, after applying it before bed and leaving it on over night, there are some better results. Are they better than a basic overnight conditioner job though? I honestly don't know... I would also like to highlight that yes, the bottles are small. But they go a VERY long way. The normal quantity of shampoo/conditioner for my hair would be the size of a chestnut. However after almost asphyxiating myself beneath the mound of lather, I used a hazelnut-sized quantity second time around - which was just right. The same applies for all products - less is definitely more!

Miracle products!
I read over 150 reviews from all different websites about Olaplex before I bought this set, I am 4 years past menopause with very fine past chin length highlighted and straightened hair. Over the last 5 years my hair has become more porous and dry, Which after menopause is understandable, I decided to try Tweak’d by nature which replaced Ojon, it worked ok but I just wasn’t getting the results I wanted, I also invested in a Dyson hairdryer & straighteners, thinking they’d be my miracle but although They’re fantastic they still weren’t giving me the healthy hair I craved. I ordered the Olaplex set, it’s a lot of money, but I think you have to Invest in products when your over 50, I have now been using the full set 3 weeks, and all I can say is they are miracle workers, they not only leave my fine hair clean it’s not weighed down a little really goes a long way, I loved them so much so I got another set so I’m never without them, these products are the more you use them the better your hair looks and feels, my once porous blonde highlighted hair is now like glass, obviously due to lockdown my highlights have grown out, I’ve decided as my hairs so healthy I will not have bleach highlights anymore, but if I do decide to then I can buy Olaplex 1 and 2 System to protect my hair, I have only fantastic things to say about these products, it will now be my only 5 step haircare System, I would go as far to say this system has given me my hair back that I had in my 30s, but that’s just me everyone is different but it certainly has worked for me and I’m now spreading the word on just how very good these products are.
