Designed to be used weekly in place of your regular shampoo, the Olaplex No.4C Bond Maintenance Clarifying Shampoo delivers a deep cleanse.
The formula uses an advanced broad-spectrum clarifying system to remove a wide array of impurities, including hard water minerals, chlorine, heavy metals and product build-up, while resisting stripping or drying out hair. Supported by patented Bond Building Technology™, the shampoo leaves hair feeling touchably soft and optimally prepped for the next steps in your Olaplex routine.

- When to Use: Weekly, in place of your regular shampoo.
- Application: Dispense the desired amount of product into hands and emulsify. Apply to wet hair, focusing on the scalp and working through to the ends. Lather fully and leave on for up to 5 minutes. Rinse.
- Routine: Follow with the Nº.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner or the Nº.8 Bond Intense Moisture Mask for extra hydration.

Clarifying shampoo
I use a few products in my hair and every few weeks I like to give it a proper clarifying shampoo, this does the job, leave it on about 5 minutes, then follow with the hair mask in the same range, as I do find it needs a good dose of hydration afterwards. Am quite pleased with it although wether it’s any better than other clarifying shampoos on the market that are cheaper I don’t know. Again it’s expensive for what it is, but I am glad I tried it , not certain I’d buy again but it’s in no way a bad product just not as awesome as the rest of the range.

For me, not as good as everybody says!
I've got horrible hard water that leaves a waxy build-up on my hair. Reading all the glowing five-star reviews I thought this shampoo would be a lifesaver, but it's the same as every other clarifying shampoo I've tried. It gets rid of some of the build-up (not all) and is very drying on my hair. I've now bought a shower head that softens hard water, at a fraction of the cost of this shampoo. So if you've got hard water at home too, that could be a better solution.

It definitely clarified my hair but left it a bit dry. Also, the directions to use weekly instead of your regular shampoo are a bit misleading - you actually are only supposed to use it maybe once a week/every two weeks!

Love this from Olaplex! I have thick dark and uncoloured hair and the No. 4C left my hair feeling so soft, light and refreshed. I was amazed how much of a difference it made my hair feel. It's easy to forget how much product I use on my hair on a daily basis and after using the 4C once a month it keeps my hair looking shiny and soft after normal washing too.
