Lightweight moisturiser
This is a lightweight moisturiser perhaps not suited to my skin type, which is dry. I usually need a heavy duty day cream to keep my face moisturised all day. So far this has done the job though, while stuck at home during lockdown. Don't know how effective it would be when faced with the elements and pollution. Because lightweight, I can tell it won't clog pores. It was a strong orange scent, quite overpowering for me.

Not good under makeup
Thought i’d give this moisturiser a go as my skin is combination and spot prone. First thing i noticed was it’s absolutely awful under makeup, my foundation flakes away on top of this and it looks like my skin is covered in dry skin. I’ve started using it as a night cream instead just to use it up. but definitely would not recommend, it really doesn’t moisturise the skin at all

I use this moisturiser every morning before I apply my makeup. It's light yet hydrating. It takes away morning puffiness and it smell AMAZING. It may seem a small pot but a little bit goes a long way! I highly recommend.

Absolutely brilliant!
This was my first Origins product and I was so impressed! Having used Kiel's for years and years, I felt like my skin needed a change and so I finally decided to give this one a go! I have never been happier, it is ever so lightweight, moisturising and quick-absorbent. The smell is also divine! Definitely a perfect moisturiser for the summer when you want it to be light and refreshing, also ideal if you want to get on with doing your makeup straight away! Recommend! My skin type is on a drier side.

Flaky!
When you apply this to the face, it feels great, and it smells great. As it is light, I considered trying it out for my combination acne-prone skin. But after half an hour or so, it starts to come off the skin in flakes! I thought it was the mix of it with my other serums or the amount I was using, but even when I have tried to use it on it's own, in the most pea-sized amount, it keeps flaking up when it dries. I definitely can't wear makeup on top of this moisturiser, even with primer/spf etc on top, as the makeup doesn't spread on the skin at all. It makes my skin feel much drier than it already is. It definitely doesn't give the 'awakening' affect that it suggests, and it doesn't brighten my skin at all. It felt almost like I was given a bad batch, as I hadn't seen any reviews about this on lookfantastic or others, but having gone to Origins' website, I've realised quite a few of people have been experiencing the same thing and I wish I had realised before I had ordered it. I am very very disappointed in this, I definitely don't recommend it.
