Ouidad has fortified the award-winning Advanced Climate Control Heat and Humidity Gel that provides a stronger hold in extreme humidity. Its powerful formula, crafted with the haircare label’s proprietary Anti-Frizz Nano Technology, effectively wraps locks in a shielding veil that locks in vital moisture but shun frizz-inducing humidity.
A better option for curls that require more structure, the gel also offers thermal protection to intercept the harmful effects of heat and UV rays before they can damage your ringlets and rob them of their colour vibrancy. Transforming uneven curl patterns into consistently formed, well-defined and frizz-free spirals, the styling product promises a defined, controlled and polished finish.
Apply using Ouidad's Rake & Shake technique. Divide damp hair into sections. Rake a nickel-size amount of gel through each section, using fingertips to seal and smooth the cuticle from roots to ends. When finished, hold the ends of hair in each section and shake to create curls. Let hair air-dry or blow-dry with a diffuser.

I love this gel, it instantly smoothes and defines my curly hair with only a small amount of product. It keeps wash days away for longer too as it's so good at locking in moisture. The consistency is quiet runny which I find a good thing as it allows me to distribute the product evenly without disturbing the curl pattern. I used it by itself the first time and it kept my hair good for about three days however, I find using a leave-in conditioner underneath keeps my hair for about 5/6 days. Will definitely be buying again!
