Metallic Shadows: Use metallic shimmers to highlight the brow bone with radiant golden luminosity. Press a shimmering veil onto the centre of the lid or illuminate the inner corner using a small detail brush.
Matte Shadows: Sculpt the crease, socket and outer corner “V” of the eye to elongate and accentuate. Use on the lashline with a tapered detail brush for smokey definition.

Cute little palate
The pigments in each colour are strong but really blendable. Together they create a lovely smokey eye finish. My only wish is that the first pan (top left) was less gold in finish? I expected it to be more pearl and feel that would have worked together with the other colours better, but that’s personal preference only really

Very small for the cost
I know it's a 'mini palette, but that is taking the definition of 'mini palette to the extreme. I used my account credit towards this purchase, as I've been looking at it for a while. I wouldn't of paid the full price & neither would I've paid the discounted sale price. Don't get me wrong they're beautiful shades but it's extremely mini - I would say your better off getting a Dior 5 pan palette then this palette. The shadow pans are tiny , it was my first time buying from Pat McGrath. I know it says 'travel friendly palette 'but if you're going to pay that much on a travel friendly palette your better off getting Dior /UD Mini palette or ABH 9 pan
