A little goes a long way
This shampoo is lovely, a little really does go a long way and it smells lush. Be careful not to get it in your eyes though because it REALLY burns

Awapuhi shampoo
Been using this since about 1988! I have very thick coarse hair and this stuff really leathers and cleans it so well. It also doesn't feel drying. I use with The Conditioner, another vintage product which works really well also.

My hair has always been average in every sense of the word, that was however until I came across this beut. I recently went to the USA and in the hotel they had little bottles of this Awapuhi shampoo and the detangling conditioner. Ordered this as soon as I got back it really has made my hair wonderful. It's shiny, it smells beautiful and to the touch it feels Devine. I really recommend this product I have used a lot of professional hairdressing products and this has transformed my hair.

I decided to invest in a large volume of shampoo product & I decided to test this one (after reading all the other positive reviews), just to have it for all year long. Not only that 1 full bottle really got consumed in 1 year, but I don't feel like using too much shampoo on my hair since I started using this one - I kind of noticed that my hair gets hydrated with each shampooing and improves its flexibility & vitality. I have long curly (wavy but stiff wavy) hair that usually tends to get oily the second day even if it's quite damaged by bleaching. Well...Paul Mitchell didn't solve this oily issue BUT it is the best shampoo ever for me. I will not change it and I still wonder if I would ever change it (I tend to experiment with different products). Really great product!

This shampoo is absolutely what my hair were looking for!!! I had Curly, Dry, Long hair... But no more! Awapuhi Shampoo made them Strong, Shiny and Hydrated! Not to mention the smell, so exotic, directly from Hawaii, I wish that smell lasts forever!!!
