Moisturizer + Sunscreen combo is never a good idea
This is a fast-absorbing fluid, therefore, matte (not in a shine-free sense). It leaves white, flaky residues during application. It is definitely not hydrating enough so I just use it as a sunscreen. PS: If your skin is dehydrated, matte products won't work and would sometimes backfire :)

Again not hydrating enough
although it says mattifying, it is also being claimed to moisturize, and my BF didn't find that it lives up to the latter claim. It doesn't leave shine which is a good thing.

This is the first ever product i ordered from the paulas choice range and i have to say i quite like this product. I thought since its a mattifying moisturizer it'll completely mattify my face and make it quite flat looking which this didn't do. I still had that nice sheen and radiant to my skin.Its quite a milky and runny consistency which is okay. The product itself is quite light and surprisingly quite hydrating but not greasy hydrating and i just love the fact that it has high spf and top benefits for the skin so overall a good moisturizer which didnt break me out. Unfortunately i can not say how this will work underneath make up as i didn't try it underneath my foundation.

Great product. Bought the sample size to begin with and I'm now ordering the full size. Very good protection. Very good for oily/combination skins (non greasy, nice matt finish) and no need for a moisturiser underneath. Could be used on top of a moisturiser for drier skins. Highly recommend. Going to order other Paula's Choice products too.
