Inspired by the hair's natural lipid shield, the Philip Kingsley Bond Builder Lipid Shield Oil creates a hydrating veil around each strand to help replenish lost moisture.
The fast-absorbing, non-greasy formula is enriched with biometric ingredients and oils to nourish and protect the hair. Designed to be used weekly as a post-shower treatment, the formula seeks to minimise the appearance of damage and dryness.
- When to Use: After washing your hair.
- Recommended Amount: Shake well before use. Gently tilt the bottle and tap the base to dispense 5-6 drops into the palm of your hand. Short, fine, or unprocessed hair may require fewer drops. Long, coarse, or heavily processed hair may require more.
- Application: Apply to mid-lengths and ends of towel-dried hair. Start with a smaller amount and add more as needed. Use every 2-3 washes. Very dry or damaged hair can use more frequently.
- Routine: If ends feel particularly dry, 1-2 drops can be smoothed through hair after styling. Can also be applied to dry hair and left overnight, then shampooed out in the morning. 1ml = approx. 20 drops. With 6 drops per use, the 30ml fill would allow up to 90 uses.

Amazing smell but does it work?
First of all, the smell is fantastic - it is not too intense and does not linger after using the oil, so you don't have to worry that it will be too dominating. The oil is not too heavy or oily but I would not leave it on after washing my hair - I have fine hair though so this might be different for other type of hair. I was leaving it every second night for the night before washing my hair. I used it only for 1.5 weeks so maybe the results are more visible after longer time but I did not see any miracles that this oil would do to my hair. I would compare it to other brands that are available and cheaper.

This product is wonderful. It's a small bottle but a little goes a long day. The smell is pleasant and it dispenses easily from the bottle. I towel dry my hair after washing and put around 4 drops onto my palms. I rub it between them and then put it through the ends of my hair. Once it is dry it makes it feel silly and the split ends appear less obvious! I absolutely love this product for my thick fizzy hair.
