Inspired by the hair's natural lipid shield, the Philip Kingsley Bond Builder Lipid Shield Oil creates a hydrating veil around each strand to help replenish lost moisture.
The fast-absorbing, non-greasy formula is enriched with biometric ingredients and oils to nourish and protect the hair. Designed to be used weekly as a post-shower treatment, the formula seeks to minimise the appearance of damage and dryness.
- When to Use: After washing your hair.
- Recommended Amount: Shake well before use. Gently tilt the bottle and tap the base to dispense 5-6 drops into the palm of your hand. Short, fine, or unprocessed hair may require fewer drops. Long, coarse, or heavily processed hair may require more.
- Application: Apply to mid-lengths and ends of towel-dried hair. Start with a smaller amount and add more as needed. Use every 2-3 washes. Very dry or damaged hair can use more frequently.
- Routine: If ends feel particularly dry, 1-2 drops can be smoothed through hair after styling. Can also be applied to dry hair and left overnight, then shampooed out in the morning. 1ml = approx. 20 drops. With 6 drops per use, the 30ml fill would allow up to 90 uses.

I tried this for the first time yesterday and it has left my hair so soft and extremely shiny! Its non-greasy, doesn't leave any residue and just gives such a lovely shine to the hair. I usually use a lot of hair products on my hair when drying it but yesterday used this on its own and was thoroughly impressed. Also smells lovely and refreshing too! Definitely recommend.

This is a gorgeous lightweight hair oil. I use it when my hair is damp and also after drying. Smells citrusy and is not heavy on the hair at all. Leaves my hair looking healthy and shiny but not greasy. I like that you tap to release drops of the oil. This is meant to repair damage from chemical processing and colouring but I don’t colour or use chemicals in my hair so can’t comment on that. It definitely does make my hair feel soft and smooth though. I also like that it provides heat protection. Expensive but I really like it and would consider repurchasing when I run out.

I am in love with this product!. Being a hairdresser I usually stick to professional wholesalers for my hair products. However, I was recommended this and thought I would give it a go. So where do I start….. the plus points. You only need a small amount so the product will last ages. Despite it being an oil it doesn’t leave the hair feeling heavy or greasy and lastly my hair genuinely feels less dry and stronger, even after one use!. Negatives……..ummmmmm I haven’t found any yet.
