Inspired by the hair's natural lipid shield, the Philip Kingsley Bond Builder Lipid Shield Oil creates a hydrating veil around each strand to help replenish lost moisture.
The fast-absorbing, non-greasy formula is enriched with biometric ingredients and oils to nourish and protect the hair. Designed to be used weekly as a post-shower treatment, the formula seeks to minimise the appearance of damage and dryness.
- When to Use: After washing your hair.
- Recommended Amount: Shake well before use. Gently tilt the bottle and tap the base to dispense 5-6 drops into the palm of your hand. Short, fine, or unprocessed hair may require fewer drops. Long, coarse, or heavily processed hair may require more.
- Application: Apply to mid-lengths and ends of towel-dried hair. Start with a smaller amount and add more as needed. Use every 2-3 washes. Very dry or damaged hair can use more frequently.
- Routine: If ends feel particularly dry, 1-2 drops can be smoothed through hair after styling. Can also be applied to dry hair and left overnight, then shampooed out in the morning. 1ml = approx. 20 drops. With 6 drops per use, the 30ml fill would allow up to 90 uses.

Absolutely Amazing!
This stuff is incredible. I was sent this to test and review and it is seriously one of the best hair products I have ever used. I am obsessed with my hair and spend an absolute fortune on it every month! Having recently gone full head bleach I was beginning to look a little dull and dry in the blends no matter how much tlc it was given by myself or professionals. I have never used this brand before and it did not disappoint- quite the opposite. I applied it to my hair and left on overnight as a treatment then washed and re applied before blow drying. The results were amazing. Super smooth and no flyaway. The ends look sharp, smooth and shiny. It has a really subtle scent which is lovely. Prefer a spray
Just received this and first impressions are ok. I have very long very naturally oily hair. Need to wash everyday to look human. The directions say apply 5 to 6 drops. Me personally this was not enough at all. Went for around 8-10 and still thought I needed more but didn’t want to ruin the review. I used redken shampoo & conditioner to wash my hair and no other products to review this. It’s certainly non oily and lightweight which I love. Can’t tell it’s on my hair which to me is a good thing. Hair doesn’t feel any different but it doesn’t claim to change your hair. It’s a hair defence. My hair feels normal which is good. My only slight concern is for a heat protector the small amount of drops doesn’t make me thing a lot of hair is getting covered. I prefer a spray so I can see where I’m coating in sections. But overall good. Not sure if I would buy again but I would try the leave in conditioner spray Philip Kingsley does next if it’s similar to this product.

I'm still yet to find a PK product that lives up to the hype for me. I'm not sure my hair gets on with the brand as well as it does for others for some reason?! This is lovely and light, not hugely scented that I can tell and a little goes a long way. It gets absorbed very quickly into towel-dried hair. And that's as much as I can say so far. My hair was quite soft after use but I use other products that also do this so am not wowed. I have very long, fine coloured hair and used 6 drops which didn't make my hair greasy at all. I think I could have used more maybe. The bottle is small but will clearly last quite a long time. I think I will use it up but probably not repurchase.
