Shampoo

I suffer from scalp psoriasis and have used many shampoos over the years and other than a VO5 shampoo which was discontinued this is the only one that does not irritate my head. I have also tried the Liz Earle shampoo which is supposed to be suitable for sensive scalps but although a lovely shampoo still irritated my head. Although this is not a cheap shampoo I really like the fact that you can get the 1000ml bottles which last me a good 4-5 months and I was my hair every day. My son now also uses the Philip Kinsley Flaky Itchy Shampoo as he suffers from an itchy scalp and he does not itch with this. Overall the best shampoo I have ever used. I use the moisture balancing conditioner with this also and this does not irritate either, although I don't really apply it to my scalp.

Amazing product. Does what it says. Have been purchasing this for 2 years as I get a flaky scalp after having my colour done at the hairdressers. After a couple of washes my scalp is back to normal. Excellent product as are all Philip Kinsley products

really works

I suffer or very flaky scalp. I have tried more than 10 different brands of shampoo in the last year, always trying to sort out my scalp. It is so flaky that creates scabs on my scalp. This shampoo has really worked. It is not very strong and as a result it does not stripp my hair completely, which laso means you may need to wash a bit more often than before, but in the upside no more flakes. Great shampoo. Smells great and leaves your hair very soft. Alternatively use the Aveda scalp benefits, but it won't be as effective as this shampoo. If you try aveda Shampure, you will find that it strips your hair a bit too much and your scalp will still be flaky, but leaves the hair ultra soft and extremely shinny. So I guess those are my top three: 1) Philip Kingsley 2) Aveda Scalp Benefit 3) Aveda Shampure

Relieves itching, flaking and thinning

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I suffer from itchy scalp and recently, over the last year I also noticed my hair at the front hairline thining. I visited a tricologist and although she started me off on her own shampoo and specialist products, when the shampoo ran out I mentioned that I had Philip Kingsley's Itchy Scalp shampoo and she recommended that I use this to help my scalp and I didn't have to buy her shampoo as his was "just as good". Thinning hair can suffer is the scalp is itchy and flaky. Use this shampoo as an aid to protecting the hair you have and if you are going through treatment for thining hair use it to support the new hair growth by calming the scalp.

For problem scalps. This is the only shampoo that is effective in keeping my scalp free from drying out without having a build-up of product left on my scalp. I always use it with Kingsley's Moisture Conditioner. Absolutely worth the money to not worry about embarrassing dry and flaky scalp. Truly does what it says it does!

Fantastic product. Can't praise it enough. Have had flaky scalp for a long time and this is the only product that thoroughly relieves it.
