Philip Kingsley’s Overnight Scalp Barrier Serum with Triple Balancing Action is formulated to nourish the scalp’s natural barrier. The fast-absorbing formula is applied as drops to sections of the scalp, working to lock in moisture and minimise excess oil.
Powered by a Triple Balancing Action alongside aloe vera and AHA’s, the serum gently exfoliates and clarifies, while delivering a soothing sensation. The scalp serum is designed to be used overnight while you sleep and is suitable for all scalp types.

- When to Use: In the evening, the day before you wash your hair.
- Recommended Amount: 2-3 drops per section.
- Application: Fill the pipette by pressing down on the top of the dropper. To dispense, gently press again. Apply directly to the scalp in 4-5 sections, using 2-3 drops per section. Massage over your scalp gently. A soothing sensation can be expected. Do not rinse. Upon waking, wash and style as usual. For best results, repeat every evening.

I’ve used this a couple of time now and I’m just not sure what it’s done to my hair? It feels nice when it goes on and my hair does feel really clean after so perhaps that’s what it does? Still a nice product I’m not sure I would buy again though.

Nourishing scalp treatment
I was given this scalp treatment for free in return for an honest review. I don't really wash my hair often so I didn't use the scalp treatment more than once a week. I also have psoriasis on my scalp but I thought I'd give this scalp treatment a try and I did notice a difference the days after, my skin felt soothed and I definitely had less flakes in my hair. It also reduced the itching as well. My boyfriend used it too as his scalp is quite dry and flaky and the next day he was flake free and his skin looked hydrated- so he's a big fan of this treatment. You apply the serum the night before you wash your hair. ( it says to use a couple of drips on each area but i did apply more than stated) It feels very silky and smooth and is absorbed really well. Didn't make my hair greasy at all. It smells quite nice too. You need to use this regularly to see good results but I'd recommend this to anyone with a dry itchy scalp, it really does sooth your head. I'll be purchasing more when I run out
