A conditioning treatment by Philip Kingsley, the Swimcap Water-Resistant Mask protects the hair from the damaging effects of chlorinated and salt water, while UV absorbers defend from discolouration caused by the sun.
Originally developed for US Olympic Synchronised Swimming Team, the formula is now used by swimmers and as a summer saviour, working to nourish and care for all hair types, including coloured and chemically treated. Fortified with hydrolysed elastin, the hair mask encourages visible strength and body, alongside helping to minimise the look of breakage and damage by plumping the fibres with lightweight moisture. Castor and olive oil lend long-lasting hydration, supporting a silky, high-shine finish that’s soft to the touch. Apply before sunbathing or swimming to damp hair for best results.
Apply in sections to damp hair and comb through. For best results, apply before a day in the sun. Leave the treatment on your hair to guard against the effects of sun and water damage while swimming or sunbathing.

THE BEST to protect hair from chlorine
I train in the pool and open water (loch and sea) several times a week for ultra triathlon training, and wash my hair every single day as a result, sometimes multiple times a day. I cannot recommend this enough to someone who washes their hair regularly and trains often! My hair was an absolute disaster until I found this product. Ive got thick and frizzy hair due to my Turkish ancestry, also bleached with colour and highlights every month, drying it and straightening it everyday. This product single handedly keeps my hair in tact. It’s pricey but if you train a lot and want nice hair, buy this. I put it on after I’ve wet my hair, under my swim cap before going in the pool. I have to double rinse with a shampoo after and clarifier once a week and still use conditioner and hair masks, but given my hair type I would do this anyway.

Brilliant for holidays

Great for holidays in the sun
Tried this after my hairdresser recommended. I have long dyed hair which dries out when holidaying in the sun. I sprinkle my hair with water in the morning and comb a grape sized amount though mainly the ends of my hair and plait/put up for the day. When I come in at the end of the day I wash thoroughly and my hair feels soft and moisturised. Great buy
