Protect hair during sunbathing and swimming with Philip Kingsley Swimcap Water-Resistant Mask, a water-resistant, protective hair cream that effectively shields against the damaging effects of chlorine, salt water and UV rays.
Originally formulated for the US Olympic synchronized swim team, the cult classic is a favourite amongst professionals; it delivers maximum protection against discolouration and dryness associated with chlorinated or salt water, and sun exposure. Infused with sunscreen, the safeguarding formula intensely hydrates whilst helping to prevent colour fading on colour-treated hair. Hair looks healthy and radiant, and blonde hair is protected against turning green.
Apply in sections to damp hair and comb through. Leave on hair to guard against effects of sun and water whilst sunbathing and swimming. To remove, rinse then use appropriate Philip Kingsley shampoo, conditioner and scalp toner.

Best product for swimmers
I swim quite often having thick frizzy hair it’s been unmanageable especially after the chlorine from the pool /jacuzzi touches my hair. This product is like magic. It’s such a good barrier for protecting your hair. I wet my hair and tie it up in a bun. And I only apply this product to the back of my hair and around the front where chlorine is likely to splash on. Otherwise I’d be finishing a bottle every 3 weeks

Good alternative to an actual swimcap!
I’ve been swimming regularly in a chlorinated pool rehabbing an injury and am far too vain to wear an actual swimming cap, but have been a bit distressed by what it’s doing to my long, thick, colour treated hair! This is a good compromise, it only takes a few seconds to apply and it does feel like it forms a protective barrier and washes out easily in the shower afterwards. The condition of my hair has improved post-swim since using it.
