Ideal for oily and blemish-prone skin types, the PURIFIDE by Acnecide Oil Control Mattifying Moisturiser hydrates the skin for up to 24 hours while reducing the appearance of enlarged, congested pores and oiliness.
Enriched with whitewood bark extract, the nourishing formula clarifies and absorbs excess sebum, while dimethicone nourishes and smooths the appearance of texture. Creating a matte base ideal for prepping skin for makeup application, the non-comedogenic formula resists blocking pores and offers a shine-free finish for up to eight hours.

14 years of trying - finally severe back acne cleared to 90%
This is an astonishing product. It is cosmetically elegant, non-greasy, minimal ingredients list, and very, very effective. I've had bad back acne for 14 years (I'm 40, f) - I tried everything under the sun EXCEPT benzoyl peroxide, because duac gel and the rest of it were simply ineffective on such a large area. I finally tried this on the recommendation of my GP - what can I say, the rest is history. After 8 weeks of nightly application all over my back (dries instantly, disappears into the skin) my horrible red, inflammed acne are no more - the scars (a combination of pie and pih) are reduced too - I can't believe it. I don't use any other active ingredient on my back - not even a salicylic cleanser, as it's too irritating to mix Acnecide with anything else (I tried, terrible idea!). I do however diligently apply Cicaplast Baume B5+ after I apply Acnecide on my back, to ensure minimal irritation and so that my moisture barrier doesn't get destroyed. It's worked beautifully! I'm so grateful to be able to contemplate wearing some pretty tops that show a bit of my back. Use with care - test first, ideally get your GP or dermatologist's recommendation. And of course, your mileage may vary! I love this product and will continue to use along with Cicaplast.
