For liquid foundation, place small dollop on the tip of the brush, for powder foundation, dip tip into powder foundation, tapping off excess. Dab brush across the high points of the face (forehead, chin, cheeks and nose). In circular motion, blend product for a smooth, streak-free finish.

Love this latest addition to my brush set! I find this brush works well with liquid and powder foundations. I find it best putting the foundation on my face First then evenly blending it in, in circular motions I have a separate brush (same) for powder when contouring I find the brush doesn’t use to much product !

I found it a slightly awkward brush, to be honest. It does an ok job, but I do feel it tends to take most of the product off, rather than help apply/blend it - maybe it'd work better for powder products rather than the foundation (Armani Liquid Silk) I was using it with. It's not a bad brush, but they definitely have better in their range.

I have always applied my foundation using a sponge but after watching a make up video online and seeing how easy it looked to use a brush like this I thought its worth a go. To Starr I was sceptical about my ability (I'm no pro) but after applying my full face of foundation I was really happy with the results. I had to use my sponge for over my nose as this is where I found I had bristles but other then that I am really happy and glad I took the plunge.
