Protect, hydrate and visibly brighten with Redken’s Acidic Colour Gloss Treatment. The spray is the perfect addition to your haircare routine, helping to defend against heat damage up to 230°C and support a smooth, glossy-looking style.
At the core of its formula is Redken’s Acidic Shine Complex and Invisible Shield Technology. The mist moisturises the lengths for up to 72 hours*, working to leave hair feeling silky-soft, while encouraging a glass-like appearance. Ideal for colour-treated hair, the multi-purpose formula maintains the vibrancy of your hue in-between salon visits.

- Use as a complete regimen with the full Redken Acidic Colour Gloss system.
- Step 1: Apply Acidic Colour Gloss Shampoo to wet hair, lather and rinse. The formula is sulphate-free to allow for gentle cleansing.
- Step 2: After shampooing, towel-dry hair before using the Activated Glass Gloss Treatment. Apply to mid-lengths and ends and leave on for 5 minutes. Then rinse. Use weekly, starting one week after colouring services. It is recommended to wear suitable disposable gloves.
- Step 3: Next apply Acidic Colour Gloss Conditioner on mid-lengths to ends to lock in moisture. Then rinse.
- Step 4: Protect your colour and seal in your routine with Acidic Colour Gloss Heat Protection Leave-In Spray. Apply liberally to damp hair before styling.
- In case of contact with eyes, rinse them immediately.

I think this is a good match with the collection and finishes off the look nicely. I felt like it works for the first few washes, my hair wasn’t so glossy, but the more I used it, I noticed my hair wasn’t as glossy and become its usual dull self again. It’s like that factor had run out. Not sure how to describe it. But it works as more of a once in a blue moon treatment spray rather than your first choice heat defence spray.
