Banish those brassy tones taking the richness out of your brunette hair with the Redken Color Extend Brownlights Shampoo. Specially created for both natural brunettes and hair that’s been highlighted, the blue shampoo uses cool pigments to combat warmth and unwanted orange tones. When used regularly, the shampoo rebalances and revitalises the colour of your hair, leaving it truer to when you walked out of the salon. It’s best used four to six weeks after colour treating your hair, helping to prolong the intensity and vibrancy of your look, whether that’s micro lights or balayage.
Use as a complete system with Color Extend Brownlights™ conditioner. Wearing suitable gloves, apply to wet hair, lather and leave on for 3-5 minutes. Rinse. Follow with Color Extend Brownlights conditioner. In case of contact with eyes, rinse them immediately.

Could use some improvement
All my hair products are Redken so was looking forward to testing their colour extend brownlights shampoo. Not sure if wearing gloves will be a requirement going forward but I had to wear gloves to use it. It seems to have brightened up my highlights and my hair feels soft but it’s definitely not as smooth or as silky as my hair normally is from using a Redken shampoo. My hair felt as though I was using the Clean Maniac shampoo - it didn’t really lather up much even after a rinse and repeat. I think if they could make improvements to these things then I would definitely consider using it in future.

Lovely shampoo
Tried this shampoo a couple of time and it washes well. I would prefer it a little more concentrated . Not sure of the colour, would prefer a softer colour. Hair looks nice and when blow dried . Love the smell. Conditioner is nice with this and makes the smooth and shiny.

Great results - but a bit messy
So I admit I didn't read the instructions quite as closely as I should have! This stuff will stain your skin and towels if it comes in contact with them. The instructions on the back of the bottle do say to wear disposable gloves - but who wants to do that just to wash their hair? Its quite thick so was difficult to squeeze out of the bottle and the dark blue/navy colour was quite off putting. However, the results are pleasing and my hair looked shiny and felt soft.

Healthy looking hair
I have used this twice since receiving the sample and have to say my hair looks more vibrant. I have my hair coloured professionally and the colour looks richer. I also have a few highlights and they are definately more noticeable.

Wonderful shampoo
I had the pleasure of trying this product before it’s hit the marked, made my hair beautiful and soft, would totally recommend this product, I’ve tried a number of different shampoo and conditioner.

Loved it!
Great product, the shampoo and conditioner gave my hair a lovely shine, and did tone down the warm tones in my hair., which I didn’t think it actually would do. Will definitely be using this again. Very happy!

Bye bye brass
Was so happy to get this! After having hair highlighted a few months back it was starting to look a bit brassy from mid section down. used this shampoo, left it on for the full amount of time suggested and it definitely did de-brass the ends! Obviously there’s still a hint of orange/brass colour there but we are talking like most of hair was a brassy colour so was very impressed with how much it was toned!! Absolutely loved the smell of this shampoo too!

Great results
I tried this shampoo and condition and after initially being quite put off by the colour of it I was thrilled with the results. The shine on my hair and the resulting gloss was worth it. I would definitely try to again

lathers well
Once you get past the bright blue colour this is a great product lathers really well and leaves hair squeeky clean. Wear gloves if have handy as does leave your hands blue for a while. Leaves hair refreshed and a lovely tone

It works!!
I was a little hesitant when I was used this product. Normally, products that promise to tone my hair leave my hair colour feeling slightly off and patchy. This product did not do this at all!! My hair was left just right. My ombre hair was left perfect, regardless of the brown or blonde shade I started at, this shampoo worked its magic and left my hair looking and feeling fresh.
