Designed for dry, brittle and damaged hair, Redken's Extreme Shampoo is a rich, nourishing formula that promotes smooth-looking, soft-feeling and more manageable hair.
Formulated with proteins and the brand's Strength Complex, featuring amino acids, the silky shampoo helps to protect the hair against excess breakage and the appearance of split ends, plumping the fibres with hydration for a fortified look.

My once dry, brittle, frizzy hair was only ever used to whatever shampoo was on offer at the local supermarket. I decided over lockdown to reset and make more of an effort with my hair & skin. So I have been struggling with hair breakage and my hair falling out. When I am in the shower or putting my hair up I will end up with stands and strands of hair on my hand. It was getting a bit ridiculous so I tried this followed with the conditioner. I am so glad it did - I still get hair falling out but no where near where I was last month. I will definitely be repurchasing. It has a subtle but lovely scent, my hair feels so soft and shiny after as well. Defiantly worth the purchase .

Smells amazing and works a treat
I now use the whole REDKEN Extreme range as my hair is currently suffering from years of heat damage and in the 3 weeks I've been using it my hair is now so much healthier. I cant believe its so shiny and soft and my split ends are now non existent. I love this range so much the smell is brilliant and the products are easy to use and easy to add to your nightly routine. But the best thing about these is that it actually works, you can see the results after the first use and it just keeps getting better! Anyone who uses heat to style there hair should use the extreme range from REDKEN its amazing.

Underwhelming
It’s fine... but no different to a high street brand. I’ve had better hair days with L’Oréal Elvive and John Freida shampoos/ conditioners. Smell is a bit sweet, doesn’t last, and hair isn’t particularly well nourished or repaired. It’s fine. But not for the price.

Thought I would treat myself to a more premium shampoo and after reading such good reviews I decided to buy the Redken Extreme shampoo, the consistency of the shampoo is lovely and you don’t need much for it to lather up either, however after washing my hair a couple of times with it I’ve noticed it’s leaving a film on my hair and it looks greasy, not to mention it has given me horrendous dandruff.. I had such high hopes for this shampoo but I’m so disappointed.
