I love using this product on my thick and slightly frizzy (due to the heat and humidity) hair, as it leaves my hair smoother, shinier and softer after every 'hair mask-ing' session. The consistency is like any hair mask; creamy and thick. However, a little goes a long way for this product and for the cost and the size of it, it is definitely worth the money.

Bleach Ravaged hair? This is your solution!

If like me, you have made the gigantic, painful and traumatic leap from box dyed, jet black hair, 10 colour levels up to Blonde, then this is a must. My long black hair withstood 6 rounds of full head salon bleaching and toning thanks to this little Redken beauty. Of course I've needed some good trims, but this formula has meant the overall damage has been limited. A short crop was my expectation upon starting my hair transformation, but here I am, still with thick hair below shoulder length. It's not like other protein rich formulas - it adds a good deal of moisture too, I found my hair felt soft and like healthy hair even when wet, with my natural waves restored. My hair literally has suffered the worst kind of abuse, so I really do recommend this as a damage limitation and restoration measure. I use it twice a week, only a walnut sized amount. Worth a try, its better than the scissors!

Outstanding!

I've been having a full head of bleach hi lites every 5-6weeks for 20 years, more recently my hair has become very broken, over processed and scorched in areas. I was devastated, and immediately got on to this site to buy the most nourishing products that I could. I tried various other top brands, which were nice, but always loved Refken, and after reading the reviews for the Extreme range, I bought the Cat treatment, wow! So I ordered the extreme shampoo and this deep conditioner, and I can honestly say, IT HAS SAVED MY HAIR!! I was about to have it chopped into a bob as my only option, but now my hair feels like new! I sleep with it overnight if I can, but you still get amazing benefits from 5-10mins. I would recommend anyone with bleach damaged hair to invest in this a Redken Extreme range, you use less than high street shampoos and conditioners, so it's not actually expensive. The CAT treatment also fantastic, my hair feels stronger already after only a few weeks (nourish well after this, is its protein to strengthen, and you need a deep conditioner after, this this one.) AMAZING products, I'm stocking up!!

Brilliant!

Haven't bought this in years...wish I'd gone back to it sooner! After 15yrs as a blonde, I finally had no choice but go darker colour to save what was left of my snapping off hair. My hairdresser pointedly refused to touch my hair with blonde for another 6 months! One use of this has softened my hair and given back some shine, I wash my hair every four days, and will alternate with my regular conditioner. Will never go back to using cheaper options!

repair miracle!!

this is a literally a repair miracle in a tub!! I know its expensive but its because it works... I've messed around with my hair a little too much taking it for granted thinking it would be ok, but my last treatment left it snapping and coming off in my brush and hands,,, was too scared to even wash it!! I couldn't stop crying for days, because this is protein it helps build back your hair, I'm into my third week of using it and its saved my life, yes my hair is thin now but its stopped and started protecting my hair that's left, I leave it for 1 to 3 hours wrapped in clingfilm for a deep condition, I also the anti snap leave in conditioner ... remember though too much protein isn't good for damaged hair so once a week I use the redken all soft conditioner and leave it over night wrapped in clingfilm as your hair needs a balance of moisture in too, its finding the balance you need to repair your hair depending on how badly damaged it is

Extremely good

I have long, color treated hair and I have used this product quite a while. This mask smells amazing like blueberries and it does soften my hair and make my hair feel stronger. LOVE IT! I definitely recommend this product if you dye your hair and use heat styling on a regular basis.

New love

This stuff is bloomin' amazing! My hair went from a fluffy snapped mess, to smooth and conditioned after the first use. I'll be taking this on holiday with me to keep my hair looking good. I never want to run out of this.
