Extremely good

I have long, color treated hair and I have used this product quite a while. This mask smells amazing like blueberries and it does soften my hair and make my hair feel stronger. LOVE IT! I definitely recommend this product if you dye your hair and use heat styling on a regular basis.

This stuff is bloomin' amazing! My hair went from a fluffy snapped mess, to smooth and conditioned after the first use. I'll be taking this on holiday with me to keep my hair looking good. I never want to run out of this.

Alright so far...

Its alright for now.... I think the hair needs to be washed 4 times a week to notice a difference.

I have used other products in this range and been really impressed, but haven't really felt this one was worth the price! My hair has highlights so has been feeling pretty damaged recently. It's recommended that you leave it in for up to 15 minutes, which I have been doing, and I find it an irritating length of time when I could feel and see better results using my normal conditioner (Joico's K-pak conditioner)! I would recommend the leave in treatment in this range, however, as it has certainly kept my hair in decent condition.

Fantastic!

Over the past year and a half, I've gone from dying my hair jet black, to my natural blonde. After several rounds of bleaching away the black, my hair was ruined. Since it is curly, dry and coarse to begin with, I was left with a hay-like feel to my hair, with strands that snapped. I of course had to cut most of it off, and now, after a year of no dye or bleach, only the last 3-4 cms of my hair has any old dye in it. But, my hair is naturally dry and awful, no shine, and is always frizzy due to much needed layers. I've tried a lot of things to improve the general health of my hair, like coconut-, morrocan- and argan oil, no shampoo, and a vast variety of expensive treatments, but after i discovered the redken strength builder, the results are finally here. My damaged hair is much healthier, and my untreated hair has shine, and feels soft for the first time since my toddler years, no joke! I've been using it for about six months, every 2-3 weeks, more often if i straighten a lot. I leave it in for 1-3 hours, and the result is amazing. Anyway, this product is amazing, smells divine, a tub lasts for months, and it actually does what it promises. I'm never going back!

Awesomeness!!!

I felt like a change was needed and proceeded to get my entire head of hair bleached at a salon! My hair was damaged before because of the exposure to the heat and humidity that South Africa so freely offers! The black was bleached out after 5hrs! I went back home hoping that my curly hair would be completely blonde after the next bleach treatment. A few days went past and my hair started becoming stringy, thin, brittle and very dry! The worst was when my hair started snapping off. I was in tears and very disappointed. So I gave it another few days and decided to colour over it all in the hopes that I could somehow look a little normal... that didn't happen. I then started googling Redken products in the hope that I could recover my hair. I came across the Redken Extreme Strength Builder. I started using the product and again I was in tears. Not because I was unhappy. But because I was so happy with the end result! My hair is repairing so nicely and quite fast I may add. So all in all Redken has yet another devoted and loyal customer. I am hooked to Redken officially. Thank you.

This is my first ever time writing a review and it's only because if I could, I would recommend the whole female population at the same time to use this amazing Redken Extreme Strength Builder. I've always died my hair dark, naturally I'm a dark ashy blonde. I went light blonde a little while ago, spent hundreds of dollars on expensive hairdressers only to see my precious hair that I had been growing long and healthy for over a year SNAP. I was left with a disgusting looking dry blonde birds nest on my head and went back to dark. I had my ends cut off and wanted to do nothing but cry... I'm being serious - we all know how it feels to know that you've done this to yourself and even spent money on it. I started using Nioxin System 5 (shampoo/conditioner/scalp treatment kit) which did a lot of good for me, it's for people with thinning and chemically treated hair and it really did stop the falling out and snapping for the most part - but it wasn't until I started using Redken's Extreme Strength Builder mask twice a week that I started getting my old hairdo back! On top of that, I used to have to straighten my hair in order to leave the house, because I have half curly hair that is frizzy. Now, I let my hair dry naturally overnight after rinsing the mask out, and my curls look better than ever! This is how I use it (what they did in the salon): After washing and conditioning on towel dried hair - apply the mask and take a hand towel, wet it with warm water and squeeze it so it's no longer dripping but still warm. Wrap the towel around your hair and leave it on for an hour. I watch TV or paint my nails. After an hour I rinse the mask off and towel dry my hair. I go to bed and wake up with dry hair. Then I apply a tiny bit of mask to my ends and I just leave it in there.
