Shield your mane from the damaging effects of heat-styling tools with the Redken Extreme Play Safe 450; a fortifying 3-in-1 hair treatment that protects damaged locks from heat up to 230°C (450°F) and minimises further breakage. Applied to damp mid-lengths and ends, the innovative heat-protecting formula enriches stressed tresses with a powerful blend of plant proteins and Tourmaline to seal the hair fibres and visibly reduce the appearance of split ends by 70%. Play safe and blow-dry, straighten, curl and crimp without causing harm to your luscious locks.
Step 1: Prep hair by washing with Redken Extreme Shampoo and Conditioner.
Step 2: Apply a dime-sized amount of product to damp hair, concentrating on fragile or damaged mid-lengths and ends. Leave in. Do not rinse.
Step 3: Heat style hair as usual. Extreme Play Safe will protect hair from heat damage up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.

I’ve only used this a few times so far but I can see a real difference that my hair isn’t drying out so much from heat styling. It smells nice too and a little goes a long way, 1-2 pumps is more than enough for medium length hair so it really justifies the price!

This is such a good heat protectant! I feel as though after I’ve had a haircut and have used heat, I’m noticing less snapped and split ends. I use two pumps of this and rub between my palms, then spreading this through my hair evenly focusing on the front parts! Absolutely fantastic, my hair around my hairline is eventually growing. My hair is bleached super curly and I have to straighten every time I wash it. Best Heat Protector Ever!
I bought this through another website (unavailable through Look Fantastic) and I've got to say that I don't think that I'll use another heat protector/styling crème again. A little goes a long way (I have a short, blonde bob) and 2 squirts is more than enough - anymore than that it can look greasy. Gives my hair a fantastic shine and stays straight until the next morning which honestly never happens for me. I would recommend this product to all!
