An oil-in-serum formula from Redken’s Frizz Dismiss collection, the Instant Deflate Treatment encourages a sleek look. Suitable for all hair types, the formula helps to minimise the appearance of flyaways and excess volume, while enhancing manageability.
The leave-in treatment is powered by babassu oil. Rich in fatty acids, the oil nourishes the strands and promotes a glossy appearance. The versatile formula can be used on wet or dry hair for an instant smoothing effect.
Wet Hair:
- When to Use: After the Redken Frizz Dismiss Shampoo and Conditioner.
- Application: Apply to clean, damp, towel-dried hair.
Dry Hair:
- Application: Apply to dry hair to help visibly smooth as needed.

Works very well, smells amazing and even though it's a bit pricey it's a value for money product since it lasts for a very long time (not much amount needed to be applied). I use it after I dry and style my hair and helps a lot during the humid days to keep my hair from frizzing.

Didn’t do anything?
I have 3C high porosity hair (half white/half black heritage) - this just didn’t do anything for me at all. Love many other Redken products but this missed the mark completely. Found it waaaay too light for my hair type to even make a dent on it. I imagine it would work for naturally straighter or looser curl pattern than mine though. London humidity is still ravishing my hair... still on the look for my frizz control HG.

Instant deflate really does work!!
I have very thick long hair and always find that after I have dried it I need to go straight in with straighteners or curlers to tame and control the frizz. This serum is great as you can run it through your towel dried hair and as you dry you really notice a difference!! I tend to use another pump or 2 once my hair is totally dry just to lock everything in/ seal the ends and catch any flyaways but it totally gets rid of the need to go in with straighteners afterwards! I bought this after my hairdresser used it on me and was pleased to achieve the same results at home.

I have fine, coloured, shoulder length hair that frizzes the second I walk out of the door. This helped a lot - equal to Kerastase and Moroccan Oil. Not perfect but I think one of the best out there (and I've tried them all!)

This smells amazing. I have super thick, large frizzy course hair, this has helped. It doesn’t solve my frizz issue completely but it’s okay. I think I see an actual result more when used rubbed into palms on my dry hair rather than through wet hair. After putting this onto wet hair and drying it I didn’t notice much of a difference to be honest, besides the fact it dried quicker. Overall a lovely product but not a miracle worker, but hey...show me the product that is!
