I love shea moisture products and wanted to try a clarifying shampoo from them, but this one left my scalp dry and flaky. I have very oily scalp, yet sensitive and its prone to flaking. I am back to using the black castor oil shampoo from the brand

Soothed my seborrheic dermatitis
I’ve used this twice so hopefully not a premature review - but I’ve been diagnosed with seborrheic dermatitis for 2 years and used prescription shampoos with tar, coconut oil and everything else under the sun, and I’m telling you, this cleared up a particularly bad attack last week. I used it again today as I started to get patches of itchy skin, but my scalp was covered in scabby dandruff all over and it would show all over my clothes. This has almost completely gotten rid of it. I pray this continues to work for my hair, but I’d give it a go if you have issues like mine.

Like it, but a bit drying
I love the smell of this, very nice and pleasant. I like the shampoo and it cleans my hair well, but it does also dry it out a bit. I use it every now and then when I feel like I need a deeper cleanse and use other shampoo's more regularly.
