Colour Lustre is a rich, post-shampoo treatment that refreshes platinum tones and reduces the appearance of unwanted warmth in blonde hair, so you can prolong the intensity of your colour. Enriched with linseed oil, the nourishing balm also hydrates your locks to keep hair looking and feeling in pristine condition.
Directions of Use:
- Perform a skin allergy test 48 hours before applying
- Shampoo, rinse and towel dry hair
- Divide hair into sections
- Squeeze balm into hands, making sure gloves are worn
- Apply section by section, working from the mid lengths to the ends. Avoid the scalp and keep hair off the face
- Allow the colour to develop for 5-10 minutes
- Rinse thoroughly

Sun exposure hair use
So I have never dyed my hair before but my hair gets really light in the summer because of the sun, beach and surfing and so on. I have natural light brown hair and in the summer it gets full of light and dark blonde highlights. On this note, with time and not catching the same amount of sun anymore, my hair starts to get yellow and brass tones which are not pleasant. So I decided to try this mask to see if it would work on virgin hair, only lightened by sun exposure. Overall, seeing the results, I think it does work a little bit, although I am certain that not as much as chemically bleached hair. If you have a similar situation, I would give it a try because I do think it cancels a little bit of orange/yellow shades and definitely does not do harm to the hair.

Really Pleased! But do a strand test first!
I've only been bleaching my hair for the last few years and it's been a huge learning curve finding out what works and doesn't help to keep your blonde bright. I have used quite a number of products which have had no effect whatsoever; this product is very intense and works well. Yes it is quite expensive but if you have short blonde hair it will probably last some time. I would definitely recommend doing a strand test before you do your whole head as you could end up with a blue rinse! My hair is very long and bleached platinum blonde and doing this helped to determine that five minutes was sufficient time to correct the yellow tones on my hair. Also section your hair before you start and definitely wear gloves!! If you have very long hair get someone to help you apply the product if you can. I started at the back of my head and worked forward. Eye makeup remover will take off any that accidentally gets on your skin but avoid doing this in the first place. I ended up with a silvery cool tone to my hair which is what I was hoping for. Coverage was good a bit patchy on some parts but I think that's just my hair as it is very resistant and thick. It's not as good as going to the salon but for me certainly the next best thing. Highly recommended!

I bleach highlight my hair every 6-8 weeks and have golden tones in my hair, I was sick of my hair becoming yellow and not the lovely ash/champagne blonde I once was when I stepped out of the salon. I was looking for a treatment that not only sorts this but also doesn't damage my hair and I found it. Although I only put it on fir five minutes first go it has made a massive improvement to the tone of my hair making it look shiny and smooth and the colour is corrected. At first when I put it on my hair looked an awful colour whilst wet and the application was applying when I blow dried my hair it come out exactly what I wanted. I will now be using this as part of my hair regime. My hair is wavy, fine but thick and I use bleach on my hair. It is defiantly worth giving it a go.

Improved the quality of my life
I have bleached white/ash hair and this is the only thing that works for me. My hair has a tendancy to turn yellow quite quickly from the sun etc. I've used several different products trying to refresh the colour and remove yellow brassiness (brands including fudge, davines and a toner that turned my roots ginger). Purple shampoos barely penetrate my hair and leave it quite dry, but after leaving this on for 10 minutes, my hair is a cool ash colour again, and super soft and shiny. It's expensive but totally worth it- a little goes a long a way and it really works. Definitely be buying again.
