Colour Lustre is a rich, post-shampoo treatment that refreshes platinum tones and reduces the appearance of unwanted warmth in blonde hair, so you can prolong the intensity of your colour. Enriched with linseed oil, the nourishing balm also hydrates your locks to keep hair looking and feeling in pristine condition.
Directions of Use:
- Perform a skin allergy test 48 hours before applying
- Shampoo, rinse and towel dry hair
- Divide hair into sections
- Squeeze balm into hands, making sure gloves are worn
- Apply section by section, working from the mid lengths to the ends. Avoid the scalp and keep hair off the face
- Allow the colour to develop for 5-10 minutes
- Rinse thoroughly

Fantastic product that I will definitely be adding to my beauty routine. Have tried and tested a lot of different purple/silver shampoos, masques, conditioners etc. But this has been by far the most successful. It really deposits a beautiful ashy silver to the hair (possibly a bit dark for those wanting a clean platinum) but I think it's fantastic! Exactly what I wanted.

I LOVE THIS STUFF :) It's saved my hair.. I've been dying my hair blonde since Im 16, I'm now 33 & my hair was reduced to split ends, brassiness & fuzziness - Redken was seriously helping with the softness but not with the colour.. and other purple shampoo's I was using made my hair stiff & coarse! Enter this product, used it once and instantly fell in love.. My hair is soft, shiny & not an ounce of brass.. yes it's expensive but a little goes a long way - if you've blonde hair then this is your only friend :)

Good quality product but beware
I had done a blonde balayage 2 weeks back and thought that acquiring this mask would help me get rid of some of the yellow highlights. I tried it only once and kept it on for less than 5 minutes. It did indeed take off all of the yellow tones but to a point where none of the highlights are there anymore and my hair looks very grey. It completely changed the tone of the hair colour done initially in a very dramatic way. Thus, if you are not looking for a grey effect, BEWARE. The positive is if that is the effect you are looking for, then it is indeed a nourishing and very good quality product.

worth the money
I've heard some good opinions about Shu Uemura Art Of Hair Colour Lustre for brown hair so I've decided to purchased this one, as I'm blonde and check if it's really as good as it say. And I have to say it is a good product! It is expensive, but will last for a long time as you only need a little drop of it. It's very rich, the colour is deeply purple, so if you are bleached/ platinum blonde make sure you do not keep it on your head for too long, as you mite end up with grey-purple hair.. However it takes off all yellow tones from blonde hair, it is also deeply nourishing, hair are lovely to touch, shiny, soft and smell like after visit in hairdresser salon. Overall I would recommend the product!

Hi all, I bought this Shu Uemura Art Of Hair Colour Lustre when I had ombre hair (my tips were kind of light ashy/pearly blonde) and I wanted to keep the orange / yellow at bay! Now, I've reverted to being a brunette but I still have this ashy tone in my hair and it gives me cool golden brown tones which I love! Now I use it once every two weeks on towel dried hair and leave it for about 20 minutes. I know they say the product is meant for cool blondes but it works amazingly on light/medium brunettes who don't really like having too much warmth in their hair. The pigments are so intense (almost pure)! This is magic in a tube! Just so you know, keep an eye while you leave it on your head! My mum tried it on her platinium highlights and it turned silver! Hope this helps.

Expensive but good
I bought Shu Uemura Art Of Hair Colour Lustre - Cool Blonde (200ml) as a back up to using silver shampoo. You only need to use it every second shampoo and it leaves your hair in a perfect blonde shade, it is soft and shiny, and no worries to come.

I've bought this Shu Uemura Art Of Hair Colour Lustre a couple of times from LF and am so pleased with the results it gives. My highlights are refreshed and vibrant and my hair feels silky soft after applying the product! Would recommend this to my friends . Only down side is the price hence the 4 stars.
