Nourishing, protective and lightweight, SHU UEMURA ART OF HAIR Essence Absolue is infused with rich camellia oil to help protect the hair fibre against dryness, frizz and UV damage.
SHU UEMURA ART OF HAIR Essence Absolue offers intense nutrition and protection against sun damage. Your hair is left easier to detangle with a unique shine and a supple touch.
Directions of use:
- Apply 1-2 pumps from root through the lengths.
- Use before shampooing or as a leave-in product.
To use as a styling aid, apply 1 pump to your hands (a little goes a long way) and work through hair from mid-lengths to ends. To use as a pre-shampoo treatment, use 3-4 pumps and comb into dry hair before shampooing. To use as a conditioning treatment, apply 1 pump each to 4 sections of hair from mid-lengths through ends, and massage into scalp. Leave overnight and style as normal in the morning.

Light oil
For my curly long hair it's a bit light. I tried Kerastase ELIXIR and Morrocanoil, Macadamia oil. The smell is very nice, consistency not very thick , more liquid then other oils. So it's less nourishing also. I tried, i like it but i have tried better oils for my hair.

Not as good as my usual kerastase elixir (gold one). Think this one tends to be more oiler/greasy/heavy. Use sparingly. Smell is ok. Was expecting this to be better than the kerastase one. I only use this after washed and when styling. Not tried this as a pre-treatment. It does keep my hair in place when used as a serum. I would give it 3 stars. But because I don't hate it I give it another star. Would I buy again? No. Would I recommend.... Erm? No. Might work for other people. But not for me. Chinese black hair

The best oil ever
I used a lot oils before and I though they really worked for me. But after reading reviews I though I try Shu oil. I would definitely recommend this oil. It leaves my hair smooth and looking gorgeous. If you love your hair you MUST buy it.

This oil is probably the best hair oil on the market. I've tried Redken, Moroccan Oil and the Kerastate ones none of which nourish, smooth and gloss hair like this oil. Even my friends have started to buy it now after trying it...you won't be disappointed if you buy it.

I have very curly hair and this product did not succeed to define my curls although it make them very very soft and shiny. Maybe it has a better result when I am using it on dry hair before shampooing.
