Nourishing, protective and lightweight, SHU UEMURA ART OF HAIR Essence Absolue is infused with rich camellia oil to help protect the hair fibre against dryness, frizz and UV damage.
SHU UEMURA ART OF HAIR Essence Absolue offers intense nutrition and protection against sun damage. Your hair is left easier to detangle with a unique shine and a supple touch.
Directions of use:
- Apply 1-2 pumps from root through the lengths.
- Use before shampooing or as a leave-in product.
To use as a styling aid, apply 1 pump to your hands (a little goes a long way) and work through hair from mid-lengths to ends. To use as a pre-shampoo treatment, use 3-4 pumps and comb into dry hair before shampooing. To use as a conditioning treatment, apply 1 pump each to 4 sections of hair from mid-lengths through ends, and massage into scalp. Leave overnight and style as normal in the morning.

A good buy
I brought the moisture velvet shampoo and conditioner along with this. All three product are expensive but having tried many leave in conditioners and finishing oils/creams this one is good. I've used it on the mid length to ends of my hair which is very dry after styling, I have yet to try it as a pre conditioner. I wish it was a little less expensive but if my hair condition keeps improving with using it I will buy it again.

grooming hair oil
Shu Uemura Essence Absolue is an outstanding product. It is light but emollient. It leaves no residue. It has a wonderful scent that is not overwhelming. I have not had a split end since applying it everyday after shampooing. I have been using this fine product for at lest three years and I have no intention of trying any other similar one.

Shu uemura art of hair essence absolue
Love love love this! I have extremly curly hair that can be slightly unmanageable. My hair has been dry, started using this product and saw a dramatic difference after just a few washes. Would highly recommend this as it's helped with the dryness. It smells beau and leaves hair with a nice shine. Thumbs up

This was the first time I bought a Shu Uemura product and I'm very pleased with the purchase. Although it's quite expensive, compared to other brands, I must say it's worth the money. The bottle is large (150 ml) and I need a tiny amount for my fine hair, only 1 squeeze, so I think it will last for ages. It's quickly absorbing, without the greasy feeling, and the hair is left shiny, silky, with a beautiful, gentle smell. Now I want to try other products of this brand, but I wish there were promo packs or samples, so we can decide which line is good for us before spending a little fortune on Shu Uemura products.
