The Beauty Face Mask for After Sun is a targeted, bio-cellulose sheet mask created by Skimono, a London-based brand inspired by Asian beauty trends who aim to provide a solution to the damaging effects of pollution, sun damage and stress.
Replicating the namesake concept of a multi-layered kimono, the mask utilises naturally-derived bio-cellulose with a three-dimensional matrix structure that has been saturated in a unique serum to maximise absorption capacity. It boasts hydrophilic properties able to retain up to 200 times its dry weight in serum with ultra-thin, tightly-woven crystallinity fibres, which closely adhere to every contour of the face for optimum penetration.
A delicate balance of Aloe Vera, Cucumber and Edelweiss combine to deliver an instant cooling sensation, perfect to calm and soothe skin that feels tight and hot after prolonged sun exposure. The deeply hydrating extracts keep skin feeling fresh, with antioxidants and vitamins working to repair damage and alleviate dryness.
The biosynthetic mask allows skin to breathe, working its magic within 30 minutes to reveal a revitalised and positively glowing complexion, with the appearance of redness and feelings of discomfort reduced. Step 1: Start with a clean and dry face. Carefully remove mask from sachet and unfold. Step 2: Peel away one outer layer to reveal bio-cellulose mask. Place mask on face, positioning carefully around nose, eyes and mouth. Step 3: Peel off the remaining outer layer. Hold bio-cellulose below hairline and peel outer layer downwards. Step 4: Press to contours of face for close fit. Smooth away any air pockets between mask and skin. Use for 20-30 minutes. After removing mask gently massage any remaining serum into the skin.

Really good
This face mask really helped to calm my skin during my holiday. After a few days in the sun my face needed cooling down and this mask worked perfectly. My skin was feeling calmer, softer and smoother immediately after using it. It is also very easy to use but feels like an actual spa treatment.

I wrote a review on this brand hand mask but, having now trying several products I feel the need to write something about this amazing mask too. First of all, it doesn't only work as after sun, it works for dry skin redness too. Again, this product was recommended to my by my friend, who had chemotherapy and suffers of dry skin. She rated it highly and I suggest that if you have the same problem, this mask is the solution. I noticed great results as soon as I finished my 30 minutes pampering. Skin is glowing, elastic and well nourished. There's lots of serum in the pack, which I kept as base of my makeup routine. I read all the ingredient and I was satisfied that it's made with organic aloe vera, rather than the cheap one... Few days after the mask, people are still commenting on my skin. Highly recommend it!!!
