Arrived already an amber shade
I was so disappointed, after years of buying CE Ferulic, to find this was a dark yellow-amber when I opened it. This means oxidation has already begun and so the efficacy of the product is limited! It's really frustrating and I am now stuck with a bottle I can't use, especially frustrating given the price and that when bought elsewhere it's been absolutely fine and arrived clear or pale yellow, as Skinceuticals state it should.

Expensive but…
No denying this is expensive, but saying that I only buy when I can get 20% off, but this is really the holy grail of vitamin C. Mine lasts 3 months, by applying just 4 drops every morning. It’s my main splurge product.

The best vitamin C serum!
I have bought this serum a few times now and have been using it overall for nearly a year. The results are amazing! My skin glows like never before and for the first time in my life people have started complimenting my skin, saying how healthy it looks and that it glows! I have noticed that I have less acne scarring as well since I started using this product. The consistency of the serum is also really good. It is quite a thin liquid, making it easy to apply. I also find that other serums, moisturisers, spf and makeup tend to sit quite well on top of it compared to some other more gel based vitamin C serums I have tried in the past, which I have found have gone clumpy under other products. It is quite pricey but worth every penny as far as I'm concerned!

I bought this on a whim because I heard good things about it and wanted the skin transformations everyone seemed to have with this product. I experienced some purging with this product which I didn't expect and I've seen so many mixed opinions on whether vit c causes purging but I perservered and continued using it anyway because it was expensive. most of the worst breakouts went away about 2 weeks in and my skin is definitely looking bright and smoother and plumper. my pores look unclogged and smaller plus my skin just doesn't look dull and tired anymore. still early days but I can tell the results will just get better. the serum also didn't come oxidized, a very light clear/champagne colour. overall pleased!!

Expensive but the best
Decided to treat myself and now I can’t go back to any other vitamin C product. It’s formulated so well that’s its light and absorbs quickly. You only need a few drops and because of the way it’s made, it doesn’t yellow expire after a month. I probably go through a bottle once every 3 months and that’s when it just about starts to yellow. And the results are unparalleled.

Well worth the investment!
This serum is an elixir, since using it my skin is so much more brighter and radiant. My partner works outside for his profession and after some persuading he is using it with Medik8 moisturiser with vitamin C to protect his skin from the elements. It is pricey but certainly worth the investment.

Have to give it up
So, whilst I want to love this serum, the metallic smell it leaves on my skin seriously bothers me. This is one of the occasions where I’m sure the positives of this serum (which has loads going for it otherwise) outweigh this negative but after 2 months I just can’t continue anymore. I couldn’t work it out until I searched the internet and realised it’s not just me! It’s not for me but I’m pleased it works for so many others!

It helps brighten my skin and the hyperpigmentation caused by the breakouts. The packaging box which the product is received from LookFantastic can be better packaged to protect the product as it is glass. better protection within the box could be supplied to prevent this.
