Beautiful Scent, Strange Texture
I absolutely love Sol de Janeiro so I was excited about this one as usually use olaplex and beauty works hair oils - which do not live up to this beautiful scent. However, this oil is very very dense and can leave your hair look greasy and weighed down. (That’s coming from someone with very thick long hair). It was hard to use sparingly as it doesn’t glide through the hair as easily as thinner oils do. After applying in the evening, my ends were still greasy looking the next morning, but they looked better later on in the day. I love the scent, which is the only thing bringing me back to it each time.

Makes your hair greasy
I LOVE this brand and love their products and most importantly, the smell! I read a bad review but wasn’t put off as my hair takes oils really well. However, I really hated this oil. It’s like putting gel in your hair, even if you use the smallest amount (half a pump). I have long thick hair as a guide. I promise you you will regret ordering this but the smell is amazing so it’s such a shame!!

I love this for my hair! It's a staple to my haircare routine now! I think it works really well for thicker hair as it's quite a dense oil. My hair is so shiny after using. I find it works better on dry hair, I can't really notice much on wet hair.
