A blend of sugar crystals and crushed cupuaçu seeds buff away at the surface of your skin, while coconut oil wards off dryness for a thoroughly conditioned finish. Incredibly nourishing, the oil leaves your body looking more supple without any unwanted build-up being left behind. Added guaraná contains five times as much caffeine as coffee, which invigorates and energises your appearance.
The ultra-fine scrub is finished with Sol de Janeiro’s signature Cheirosa ’62 fragrance for an uplifting, sensorial result.

Gorgeous smell, does a lovely job exfoliating without scratching, but is SO expensive. It also has a really hard crust on the top which is hard to get through - because of this, you use a lot more than you actually need. Love the scent though.

I’m a huge fan of Sol de Janeiro body creams and have them all in my collection, thought it’s about time to try body scrub too. Not sure if it’s me but I’m really disappointed. Apart from the gorgeous scent there’s not much to it. The texture is really thick, I need to dig my nails into the product to scoop out a portion. Before I’m able to rub the scrub on my body most of it flops out of my hands into the bottom of my bath. Once I finally manage to apply some onto my skin it’s fiddly to rub it all over. there are much cheaper and better scrubs out there and one of my faves is Ritual of Mehr Body Scrum by Rituals.

Nourishing and compact scrub
Again, a care product especially for dry body skin. The scrub is very thick, creamy and nourishing. After use, the skin is noticeably nourished and exfoliated, the granules are very dense but gentle. The smell is powerful and their typical or most famous (vanilla, caramel), it stays on the skin for a long time. The only big weakness for me is the application, I don't like to dab with my fingers (I find it problematic to reach into the scrub with wet hands), so I prefer scrubs in a tube. Perhaps SDJ could consider a different packaging method. The price is a bit higher like all their products, but if you're a fan like me, you don't mind.
