With its beachy fragrance and shimmering payoff, Sol de Janeiro’s Rio Radiance Oil is like sunshine in a bottle. The illuminating formula contains SPF 50 to protect against UV rays while adding an all-over golden glow.
Hydrating yet not greasy, the body oil utilises antioxidant-rich ingredients pongamia seed and patauá oil to provide long-lasting moisture to the skin, helping to minimise feelings of dryness caused by sun exposure. Meanwhile, notes of warm sand, vanilla, amber and ylang ylang veil the skin in a refreshing aroma that perfectly encapsulates the essence of a summer’s holiday.
- When to Use: 15 minutes before sun exposure.
- Application: Apply generously and evenly to skin.
- Pongamia Seed: Derived from the Millettia Pinnata tree, this seed provides moisture and nourishment
- Patauá Oil: A fruit-derived emollient that hydrates skin and brightens it appearance

Gorgeous scent and texture
Was looking forward to trying this as I love the Rio radiance scent to to have it as an spf is great. Love the oil spray I always prefer these as they don’t feel too thick on the skin, also gives a lovely light sheen and I find the scent lasts well on the skin!

I was a bit hesitant about an oil as SPF but the feel, the shimmer and the scent.. oh my days. Rio is definitely my favourite fragrance of the range and it lingers around all day. We love the Rio Radiance fragrance, so getting a great smell with SPF 50 is a great bonus. The spray also enhances your tan with a subtle shimmer without a greasy feel. Just disappointed that my daughter thinks this is for her!

LOVELY SCENT
I love Sol De Janeiro products as the scent lasts all day. I've never used a body oil SPF before so it took some getting used to. It is a nice product but i do prefer a lotion. I took this on a recent trip to Greece and due to its size I used it as a top up through out the day over my sun lotion. Don't think I would use it on its own but works well as a top up and handy size to pop in your bag. Smells lovely and does leave a slight radiance to the skin. Also as it is an oil it is a little greasy so need to be careful as may mark lighter coloured clothing easily.
