A cocktail of niacinamide, hyaluronic acid and vitamin B5 synergise to promote an even-looking skin tone with a natural radiance. The brand’s exclusive Collagen-Enhancing Complex lends a plumping and firming effect so that skin appears supple and revitalised. Meanwhile, the serum sinks into the skin to impart a streak-free tan with a luminous finish that requires no wash-off for your most radiant looking tan.

This self tan smelt very pleasant and was easy to apply but came out a little dark on my fair skin.
I liked the idea of this self tan and thought it would be foolproof as it’s part of the St Tropez family. However, following application it did turn out to be a little darker than I anticipated on my fair skin, and I also had some uneven areas but that could be down to the way I applied the product, even though I did use a tanning mitt. I normally use St Tropez Gradual Tan and will probably stick to this in future as the Self Tan Luxe Body Serum didn’t turn out to be as even and streak free as I was hoping for.

I want to love this tan, it’s easy to use and the golden st tropez colour you would expect however I didn’t struggle with it being streaky the next morning. Difficult to see where you’ve put it with it being more of a oil/gel consistency.

worst smelling fake tan 😂
I am super pale and freckly, every year i try all the new tanning products. I've been fake tanning since i was a teen. It smells nice going on. Then after an hour or two, oh my goodness it's the WORST smelling fake tan i've had in a long time 😂 like the worst stale biscuity smell. EVEN my BF commented on how bad i smelt. It lingered after i showered and moisturised too. The colour was really bad too. patchy in some places and barely there in others and I'm so pale, that it was really noticeable. I'll keep it and use it as a top up tanner for my other fake tan products, perhaps. But don't use it if you're going out anywhere, as it does smell so strongly.

Disappointed
The reviews for this looked fab so I decried to try it. I’m disappointed in the results. It has no guide colour so couldn’t see where it had been applied and after sleeping in it woke up orange! It’s great that it doesn’t smell and doesn’t transfer into clothing/bedding but for me the colour was too orange. A shame because it would have been great if not for the colour!

Personally I feel that St Tropez fake tans are always the best, and this one doesn't disappoint. It goes on very smoothly, and is less drying than the mousses, with only a hint of the fake tan smell too. It isn't as dark so if you want that really rich colour then this isn't for you, but used a couple of times and the colour for me is great. Very pleased.
