The St. Tropez Ultra Dark Violet Bronzing Mousse Self Tan helps you to achieve your richest, deepest tan yet. Infused with purple pigments, the formula adorns the skin with a golden veil to create a long-lasting deep tan.
Developing fully within eight hours, the nourishing mousse applies a streak-free tan for a luxurious sun-kissed glow. The fake tan is enriched with violet pigments to neutralise yellow undertones to promote a natural-looking, olive-toned tan.
Exfoliate and moisturise dry areas such as hands, feet, ankles, and wrists before application for a flawless finish. For streak-free results, apply using a mitt to ensure no missed patches. Rinse off after eight hours for a deep, olive tan. For on-the-go, shower after one hour and a natural-looking tan will develop over 8 hours. Exfoliate and moisturise regularly to prolong your tan and for an even fade.

Underwhelming
Tan goes on a lovely dark colour but difficult to blend as dries quickly. Most of the colour disappears after showering so just left with a nondescript light tan IME. Colour fades fast and goes patchy quickly. Better tans out there

Worst tan I’ve ever used
This is by far the worst fake tan I’ve ever used. The guide colour was SO dark I was scared I wouldn’t recognise myself in the morning and the application is awful, it dries within seconds and is impossible to blend so you look very patchy. Despite the dark colour on application, the developing stops there as I woke up a lighter shade which then almost completely came off when rinsing leaving a very light tan. Being branded as St Tropez’s deepest darkest tan ever, I was extremely disappointed. It’s a horrible application process for a very poor result. Would not recommend.

Not the best
I’m a regular fake tanner and have tried most fake tans on the market… I was so excited to try this! It’s advertised as being St Tropez’s deepest, darkest olive tan. I was happy with the application, it had a very dark and lovely undertone and a good smell. I left it on for 9 hours (slept in it overnight) and had a quick, cool shower in the morning. I was so shocked and disappointed as the colour came off completely! St Tropez have definitely got better tanning products than this. I wouldn’t recommend based on the colour you’re left with. It isn’t dark at all!

Not as dark
I’ve used most of the St Tropez products. This was good; it dried quickly, but I found it not as dark as I thought it was going to be. No darker than the express mist which I use.

Smells really nice
As a religious fake tan user I have tried ALOT of tans, I think this is the only one I’ve had that doesn’t smell anything like biscuits! Not that I don’t like the smell of normal tan, this smells quite perfumey which was refreshing. Applied smoothly, really nice colour, not orange at all, olive toned as explained. I’d recommend this tan - please note it takes a little while to settle into the skin and you do have that tanny stickiness whilst it’s settling in. Has a very dark guide colour.

Nice scent, long development time
I’m a huge fan of St Tropez products and use the range every day so was excited to try the new Ultra Dark Violet mousse. It smells amazing and goes on well, especially with a St Tropez mitt. It looks really dark going on but I found that once washed off it isn’t as dark as other dark St Tropez products. I also found that the 8 hour developing time was too long. I usually use the express tan which develops a deep colour within 3 hours. I found this product developed a slightly darker tan which did last longer but I will be sticking with the express tan due to the timing. Overall it’s a lovely product but the main thing that sets it aside from other St Tropez products is the nice scent

Great tanning mousse
This is a fab product. I love the violet undertones! The product goes on nicely and dries quickly so it doesn't feel tacky for ages. There is a pleasant smell which is a great surprise for a tanning product. The colour comes out lovely!
