Perfect for last-minute plans and time-short tanners, Tan-Luxe’s Express Mousse provides a golden sun-kissed glow in as little as 30 minutes.
The clear mousse formula features ultra-nourishing skincare actives such as vitamin C, beta glucan and hyaluronic acid to hydrate the skin for up to 48 hours and leave it visibly radiant. The lightweight self-tan has no guide colour, minimising the risk of transfer and clothes discolouration, alongside leaving no sticky residue. Sweep on for a fast, bronzed and streak-free finish that continues to develop even after the first shower.
- Application: Moisturise dry areas prior to application. With a tanning mitt, apply in sweeping motions from head to toe. Wait at least 30 minutes before showering – the longer you leave on, the deeper your colour will be. Your tan will continue to develop over 4-6 hours. Thoroughly wash hands after use.

Won’t repurchase
There are a few things I liked about this tan like how the clear colour doesn’t transfer onto clothes and it has more subtle smell than other tans… but I really wasn’t blown away by this at all. It is not as good as others and I have tried A LOT- at least 20 different types. I wear tan all year round and apply twice weekly. My all-time favourite was Rimmel’s Sunshimmer Mousse but it got discontinued 2 years ago. It was the BEST… seriously go look at the old product page on Rimmels website where people still leave reviews begging for it back at least once a month even now. Still on the hunt to find one as good. This is definitely NOT it. It went extremely orange on me (no tan has ever made me look orange as I have neutral undertones so this was a shock). The colour was extremely subtle and I like to be dark. Also the stickiest tan I have ever used. Better than nothing for a during-the-day emergency when you don’t want to smell like tan but overall wouldn’t recommend and won’t repurchase.

Great colour, fades badly
I did this tan on Wednesday night - 2 coats (as after 3 hours it had barely developed) I ending up sleeping with it over night and the colour was great the next day. It’s now Monday and it has begun to fade in the worst way I’ve ever had with a fake tan. It’s really patchy, my chest and neck are like tiger bread/fire tartan, looks like I need a good wash. I won’t be using this again, I’ll just stick to my usual bondai sands which fades gradually and evenly after 7 days.

Worth the £!!
I’ve been tanning for 4 years now. After trying a lot of mid-range price products, I thought I’d give this one a go and see if it’s worth the extra £. After two uses, I’d say so! It gives a lovely brown tone, no orange undertone! It lasts around 10 days before going slightly patchy but after a few more washes it does fade off evenly. It’s also sticky for a bit longer than other products however the end result is worth it.
