It’s not really ergonomic in hand but I do like it for my hair. I saw hairs in the brush with all my previous brushes after combing and not a single one with tangle teezer. It looks nice in the girls handbag, a lot of people pay attention to it. I like the fact that it’s closed so the bristles do not hook up and do not get dirty. It’s better to buy a good brush for a long time then to buy the cheapest ones and throw them away every 6 months so I believe it’s not really expensive for this thing. I think it’s a good choice for a present as well. It works best with long straight hair, a little worse with curvy and if you have short hair you probably won’t see the difference. But I would recommend it anyway to all girls and it definitely worth the money I paid for it.
