What a great surprise
I’ve been using Rosehip oil for years and love it. However, a few weeks ago, for a recommendation from Caroline Hirons, I decided to try Squalane Oil and what a great surprise it was. 1. It’s cheaper than the one I was using 2. It’s suuuuper lightweight, sinks into the skin in a lovely way and doesn’t leave any film behind 3. I always wake up with softer skin and in any way oily. I sometimes mix it with my moisturizer or use it on its own and love it either way. Totally worth it Btw: I have combo skin and an acne prone

This is my second bottle, love this squalane, I use at night after applying other serums and moisturiser, its quite oily but skin feels great next morning. I aslo use a very small amount in the morning before applying my concealer. Great for hydration, definitely recommend it.

Acne Saviour
After throwing off my skin’s moisture levels by introducing lots of BHAs and AHAs I broke out in a really bad purge of whiteheads and spots on my chin :( I realised my skin was overcompensating it’s oil production as I hadn’t been moisturising enough whilst using these active ingredients.... so I needed to change that. I use the ordinary’s moisturiser but I needed a gentle oil to rehydrate and protect the skin barrier that wasn’t going to irritate or interfere with my acne treatments, this worked perfectly. My skin was dry, scabby and angry, but after this it was so much happier!! Highly recommend, lovely at night time, put on AFTER your moisturiser :) only thing I’d say is I wish the packaging was a dropper instead to stop little leaks but doesn’t bother me that much!
