Transform your complexion with The Ordinary 100% L-Ascorbic Acid Powder, a very fine antioxidant powder that helps to brighten the appearance of skin while addressing signs of ageing.
The fine 325 mesh powder formula ensures skin receives the most direct exposure of Vitamin C, a powerful ingredient that visibly targets uneven skin tone, dullness and ageing. Formulated to be mixed with other treatments (except those containing Niacinamide or EUK 134), the L-Ascorbic Acid powder will promote a radiant, more uniform and healthy-looking complexion. A tingling (but non-irritating) sensation is expected during the first 1-2 weeks of use.
Free from water, alcohol, oil, silicones, nuts and gluten.
Not tested on animals. Cruelty free and vegan.
Mix a small amount with other treatments in the palm of your hand and apply to face in the AM or the PM. A tingling sensation can be expected after application. Do not mix with formulations containing Niacinamide or EUK 134.

Good product but..
It’s a good product but there’s this weird metallic smell associated with the product every time I use it. It lingers on my hands and sometimes I smell it on my face. Since there’s a lot of product I’m going to use it on my body and face. I’m still on the hunt for a good vitamin c.

I love how you can create your own skincare with this powder, I mixed it with my spf moisturiser to give it an extra zing! It does make creams more runny but that’s actually a good thing for me as I have oily skin so the lighter the better. The only thing I’d say is it’s hard to know exactly how much to use

I really like this as it works well and you can pretty much mix it with anything. It tends to work best in a cream formula. Really brightens but stings if you use too much and can be a bit messy.

Mix with the right product and it works!
I don't usually write reviews but after seeing mixed ones on this product I felt like I needed to! If you follow the instructions properly with this one and don't mix it with products that are water based, it works perfectly and no orange tint anywhere. Post-toner, I mix just under half a scoop with the ordinary salicylic acid 2% anhydrous solution, just with my finger in the palm of my hand, and then pat onto my face. Wait a few minutes for it to dry and then carry on with the rest of my routine. I've got combination skin and my skin texture has never has been great, but even after a few days of doing this daily my skin was much smoother and brighter. My skin isn't sensitive though so others may need to use with caution. Its a little grainy at first when you apply it but it's going to be if it's a powder, and it disappears when you pat into your skin. Hugely recommend it

Turns hands orange lol
I've only just begun using it as part of my skincare routine and it mixes well into my moisturiser for an easy application and doesn't leave any residue or discomfort when on my face. However, make sure you wash your hands after applying it as I woke up the day after and my fingers were bright orange where it had oxidised. I noticed my hands smelt of fake tan after application but isn't expect my hands to actually be tanned the day after. I'd recommend the product just make sure you wash your hands after!
