The Ordinary’s Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% is a lightweight cream-gel system that helps to smooth and brighten the complexion.
Suitable for all skin types, the multi-functional formula also acts as an antioxidant, seeking to protect the skin from environmental aggressors. The cream is infused with a 10% concentration of high-purity Azelaic Acid, which works to gently exfoliate the skin. Boasting non-comedogenic properties, the formula promotes a radiant finish.

Apply to face AM and/or PM to improve visible brightness and the appearance of skin texture. Avoid contact with eyes and mouth. Use sun protection during the day.

Perfect for acne
I tried other products with azelaic acid but only this one has a huge effect overnight. Sometimes I have huge and painful acne pustules and this product minimizes the pustules real quickly. It’s amazing. Also it minimizes blemishes. It’s perfect

I really like this cream. It really seems like it cleared my dark spots! However, if you dont put anything on it, you'll make up with dry skin. So i recommend putting it before your moisturiser (i usually put my night mask on it)

Amazing product
I started coming out in odd little raised red dots in two places on my face. Not acne related I don’t think, but possibly a sensitivity/reaction to something or maybe some kind of rosacea? Tried everything to no avail. The only thing that brought them down was steroid cream which made them vanish overnight BUT they’d come back and steroids of course not a long term solution since it harms your skin if you use too often. I really was at my wits end and though the dots were minor-ish easily covered by makeup it was really getting me down. This product has been a revelation. It did sting when I first used it and that worried me a bit since I have very sensitive skin and usually stinging means an allergic reaction, but I trusted in the other reviews and like others found the stinging went after few days of use and was not a sign of an adverse reaction. Although it didn’t remove the redness and raised dots overnight like steroids, with ten days of use they are nearly gone, and my skin texture and colour is back to near flawless. I think in another week or so I’ll not even need makeup. Still no real idea what was causing the red dots but it looks like this is the miracle solution I needed, so happy to have my face back to normal after so many months. Only complaint is I find this really bobbles under makeup so only using it at night.

Good product to try for acne prone skin
I've used this product for the last month and seen a definite improvement in my skin - less hormonal acne, and the skin brightening benefits the product claims to have. I use it at night, and the ordinary niacinamide during the day. Absolutely would recommend, especially given the price!

I have used the product for only 2 weeks, but so far I can say that I see improvement in my skin as per tone, less breakouts and better overall look. I can’t say there is any improvement concerning my pigmentation spots, but this is a difficult task that will take months at least.
