Formulated to provide mild exfoliation, the Lactic Acid 10% + HA 2% Superficial Peeling Formulation from The Ordinary promotes a smoother, more evenly-toned complexion.
The serum is fortified lactic acid, an exfoliating alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), to help improve the appearance of pigmentation, uneven skin tone and texture. The addition of a Tasmanian pepperberry derivative helps to soothe sensitive skin, while hyaluronic acid attracts and retains moisture.
Contraindications: Lactic Acid should not be used on sensitive, peeling or compromised skin. Please refer to additional sun protection note and other warnings in provided Directions.
Apply once per day, ideally in the evening. Can be diluted with other treatments to reduce strength until skin develops tolerance. Avoid contact with eyes. If irritation persists, discontinue use and consult a physician. (Sunburn Alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.)

Flipping fantastic (but don't over-use)
I have oily, dehydrated, spot prone skin. It's really hard to get my skin looking good but this stuff is the bomb! Very easy to use, but I think you do have to build your skin up to it, otherwise your skin can be left feeling a bit tight and sore. I have pretty fair skin and I use max four times a week at the moment, and it's certainly a bit more sensitive to the sun (no joke, get your factor 30 as a minimum). But the results are everything! Massive reduction in the bumpy texture of my skin, reduction in redness, pores look a little smaller and dare I say it, close to clear skin. Other lactic acid products have worked well for me too, but hard to get something so effective for a price like this.

Really great product and would recommend to anyone
I’ve been using this now for 4 weeks and I have seen a huge improvement in my scarring and overall appearance of my skin. It’s helped to control my spots and my skin looks overall clearer. The only thing this hasn’t helped me with is my blackheads which I’m still yet to find a product that works towards that. But I will continue to use it as my skin looks so much better.

Mind blowing good
I started using this product less than a week ago and I have never seen such instant and amazing results. I was having problems with scarring left over from previous break outs and in 5 days I think this has probably cleared it by half. It has also left my overall skin tone and texture massively improved, my skin looks so bright I can't believe it. I have been using it nightly just to clear up the scarring but I think once that has gone I will keep it in my routine just to keep my skin smooth and bright. Love!

This was the first Ordinary product i bought and i loved it! it has made my skin really smooth and just over all brighter. I bought it for the small spots on my forehead originally, and it did help a little but didn't get rid of them completely (my fault for expecting this when its not what the product does) so I've moved on to different ordinary products which have helped so much!
